He's gaining weight now! :) He gained 1lb. 2oz. in 10 days. 8o We go in tomorrow for another weight check. He still spends a good deal of time crying, which doesn't seem to bother the doctors. He still also fights eating at times, but at least he's gaining. That's the bottom line, I guess. :)

Yay!! Sounds good - let us know how his check up goes.
Funny how you say the crying doesn't bother the doc.... yeah! He's not the one doing it or living with it!! ;) Glad he seems to be doing better.

LOL! I was really tempted to tell the doc that I'd just bring ds to her when he was fussy and let her deal with him! Then we'd see how enthusiastic she'd be about helping him!

I guess I'm doing okay with the crying. Since I always hold him on my left shoulder I bought earplugs to wear in my left ear so I don't go deaf with him screaming in it all the time. Colic definitely sucks!!!!!

Hopefully our little guys will calm down soon, Rhonda! :)

We took him to the doc again on Friday and he's gained another 14oz!!! :oink: So he's gained 2lbs in two and a half weeks. I think he must finally have the hang of this eating thing, LOL! So, anyway, that's the news on my end. :)

So glad tht he gaining weight now...
Are you still nursing him? I had to stop just didnt produce enough, then eventually it just stopped coming in.

Rylan has settled a bit. I am wondering if he is starting to teeth already? HE always haas his little fist in his mouth and drools like crazy.

No, I stopped nursing him. :( I'm still really bummed about that but everyone kept insisting that we needed to know how much food he was taking in. I couldn't see doing breastfeeding and formula both.

That's funny you should mention about the teeth, I was wondering the same thing about ds! I swear he tries to stick both fists in his mouth at once. Funny thing is he comes really close to succeeding!!! :D I've even thought about using Baby Orajel on his gums to see if that helps him at all, but so far I've not remembered to get it while I'm at the store.

Glad to hear that your ds has calmed a bit. It's always nice to feel like you didn't give birth to a cling-on!
