Grandparents Day activities

Our pre-k class is looking for simple, fun activities for our up coming grandparents day in March. Something that the children and grandparents are able to to make together on this special day! Any ideas?

During Week of the Young Child last year we invited parents in to do an art project with the kids.

I just supplied wallpaper samples for the background page, magazine for pictures, scissors, glue, and what ever else I could find and let them create a collage however they want.

Maybe talk with some of the grandparents. Maybe they would have some ideas of things they made as kids that they could share with the group.
