dh is taking off a 1/2 day so we'll go sledding this afternoon at the country club.
Will start cleaning the house for dd's b'day party this weekend.
Laundry done - anticipated loosing electricity over the weekend, so it's done! Yay!!

Mornin'!
Took the day off to look at houses with the realtor. Getting dd ready for school, then am going to come home and try to weed through some of the stuff we have that could be sold in a yard sale. If I'm going to buy a house any time soon, I've got to reduce our inventory!!! Going to make a box of yard sale stuff, donations and undecided! ugh, not looking forward to that! But, it will be nice to get rid of it before moving!
That's about it here.
Jen - have fun sledding! All we've gotten this weekend is rain, rain and more rain!
Had fun at the lake but it was really windy so ds didn't get to fish or play golf. They have a half day of school today...what's the point??? Could it at least be the 2nd half so we could all sleep in? ;)
DS might play golf this afternoon, and DD's girl scout cookies come in so we will go pick them up and start getting them delivered.

Amy- Good Luck house hunting!
Well, we have off today because of President's Day. There is not to much going on here this morning. I am doing laundry now, and then I am going to pay bills after lunch. I have to work at the vet tonight. UGH!!! I hate it. My mom also needs me to stop by her work and help her with her computer. I also need to work on my electronic portfolio for school. I haven't started and it is due before we graduate. I hate to think about it.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

The kids here were off school for presidents day but I don't think they would have gone for the weather anyway. I haven't left the house and I did major laundry.
House hunting....how fun! :yippee:
kids had the day off too...went to our Local K-Mart that is closing...got some jeans for ds 30% off....and blouses for dd and shirts for ds too.....another 30% off....then we hit a new kids store and got dd an Easter outfit....very cute dress with a cardigan sweater.....she looks so sweet in it....
drove around looking at houses for sale in the nieghborhoods I like, made ds get out and get those flyers on the for sale sign if they had one....I still can't believe the prices of homes here in
S. California compared to CNY....its really scary....8o
Kids have me tired out...sometimes they are just so wearing on the nerves. :)

Amy, any luck with the house hunting?
Usual Monday...work, home to cook dinner, laundry. I must have had some extra energy pills today, because in addition to that, when I came home from work, I went on the treadmill. About 1 hour ago, I decided that I need to do my pilates tape...a second workout in one day 8o

House hunting went GREAT!!!! There are 3 I reeeeeeeeally like and am trying to rate them in order! Hard, very hard! It's great to have a realtor. She's actually the sister of a friend of mine from old, long ago! It was fun catching up w/ her and looking at houses with her! I think I've made my decision on which to put in an offer on first. It's really cute! It's techincally 2 br/1.5 ba, but they enclosed the garage and are using it as a 3 br, which I would use as a den. It has a huge kitchen :yippee: and the appliances stay double :yippee: ! And a really nice mountian stone patio that's covered, fenced, level yard :happydnc: !
The bedrooms aren't huge, but they'll do... 3 closets in the master 8o woooooooo hooooooooo! And the br that would be dd's has a really cute tree and flowers painted on the walls (along with some crayon marks  ).
So, blah, blah, blah! Can you tell I'm excited?!!! Hopefully I'll know more tomorrow! :D
Sounds terrific/promising...keep us posted :)

RCT- Seems there are always good prices on clothes in February even if the store's not closing. I just bought a shirt for dd for $2.99!
I had two tests today. ON PRESIDENTS DAY when the kids were out of school. I had to drive them across town to a friend's house then drive 15miles in the oposite direction to class. I took the last seat in the whole classroom to take my midterm. My A&P lecture is over booked and if your not at least 5 minutes early you end up sitting in a chair without a desk. To top it, off lecture tends to start early as well. (Sometimes 10 minutes early.) It all feels very competitive to me.
There was a quiz today in lab too. At the end of that test my lab partner and I relized we had been so busy preparing for the tests this weekend we had neglected to download the lab notes off the web. One person in the whole lab actually had them and she was nice enough to go photocopy them for everyone else. We all were so relieved. (It nice to see we can cooperate too.)
Jeanne, glad class went well, inspite of being last and not having your notes. 8o
The kids were out today here as well. Dh didn't have to work last night, but since he is still adjusting to becoming nocturnal stayed up all night anyway. He had an appointment to go help a former client (from when he had his business) with some computer stuff, so didn't get to sleep as long as he needed. He is napping now, in preparation for work tonight. His new job is going really well! :D
I had to work today, however. :( Oh well. We get eight paid holidays, but Pres. Day is not one of them. I guess I should be glad I get any, huh?
That's it over here. Just another Monday.

Be careful with KMart's "sale" prices. When ours closed a year or so ago it turned out they had marked LOTS of stuff up and then put it on sale. There was a big news story about it. :\
