...for all of you who celebrate!
Have a good day with your families and activities. To those on the road, be careful. To those having people in, enjoy the company. The mess and the stress are a small price to pay for being surrounded by people who love you (or sometimes, people who love your spouse...;) ). I hope the sun shines wherever you are.

Well my Easter is almost over. I woke up this morning to about two inches of snow.:( I thought that was over, but I guess not. I wound up fixing green beans, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, a ham, rolls, and a cheesecake. :) We didn't have any guest, so now dh and I are left wit a bunch of food. I am so full, but it was good, so I shouldn't complain too much, and hey a few days of having leftovers and not having to cook sounds pretty good to me.:) Hope everyone else has a good one.

We also had a fun day at my sisters house... and of course we ate WAY too much food! :) I almost feel like I won't have to eat for another week... LOL :) My mom sent home some leftover pie... as if I NEED that, but she makes GREAT pie so of course I couldn't turn it down. LOL Anyway... I hope you all had great fun with whoever you spent Easter with... and I hope the Easter bunny was generous with all of you! :yippee:
bye...
Was awakened Easter Sunday about 3:30 am with terrible thunderstorms. When I finally got up at 7:30 the day was just glorious! Fog was burning off, the world was fresh and green, and the sky a clear blue for miles. The sun shone the rest of the day.
Had a great day at inlaws. Egg and money hunt was so much fun. We hide silver and gold dollars everywhere. The sun just made them sparkle. ds found $80.00. He was so excited. He's saving for a laptop. I actually found the twenty folded and laying in the grass. It was so funny. I've never been good at finding it before. I had every intention of letting one of the kids find it once I had spotted it. But I was so thrilled to have spotted it that I pulled it right out of the ground. I did end up splitting it with two sons.
Didn't eat too much because we had to leave early for another 2 hour study session for Bible Bowl.
It was a really good day.
We had a wonderful Easter weekend!!!
The party Saturday night was so fun, just giggled and laughed..drank way to much wine!!! Get up for church on Sunday...dh was being really spacey, missed the turn to church TWICE and then during the service when we had to stand, a couple of times he had to hold on to the pew in front cause of dizziness. I was really panicking that something was wrong!!! After church I lean over to him and ask him if he is ok, are the stroke symptoms coming back..he says "no, I am just really hungover!" Oh, thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Everyone came over here at 3 and we did the egg hunt and the kids played and we ate around 4:30...we had SO much food..I have two full brisket left!!!! Everyone left around 8...I am exhausted but it was fun!

Hung over! In church non- the -less. Not good but could have been worse though.
You were doing the driving right!
Sounds like it must have been quite the party!

Easter was great at our place. A little cool but not too bad. dh and bil took the kids to the park for teh annual Easter party. They came home with their faces painted, a bag full of junk food. and ds was soaking wet. Apperently he got too close to the pond during the duck race and fell in. He thought it was funny. They took a picture for the town paper of him and the winning duck. Can't wait to see the caption!

If I can get someone to scan it for me I will try and post it. This computer stuff is still pretty new to me. I'm just learning as I go along.
