Hurray it's Saturday

No school, no work today :yippee:

It's been so mild here the last couple of days, that a lot of the snow has melted. We are actually seeing some grassy patches around :) That must be a sign that spring is on its way :D

Haven't been feeling great with my stomach the last couple of days, but I actually woke up this morning and thought it felt pretty good (so far).

Both boys have hockey games today (just to see who plays in the semi-finals starting tomorrow).

You can all start sending your Go Team Go vibes because we will definately need them for tomorrow...not quite sure what happens after tomorrows games but they are definately both in the semi-finals...I'm so excited for them (this is the first year of hockey for both of them!!!)

Dh and I have a sitter tonight :thumb: so I think we are going to go out...maybe dinner and a movie. Any suggestions for a movie? I saw The Hours and The Pianist in the past two weeks...both were great!

Good Morning!!

Into day 2 of having 4 kids. Yesterday was went well. Just a little crazy around 5-6pm then bedtime was interesting. My ds ended up in my bed because no one would go to sleep. And when it's bedtime it's bedtime to him. He was asleep by 8:20. The two little ones didn't get to sleep till 9:30 and caitie at 10pm she was still wake I went to be bed.

Today we are going to the arcade and bowling. should be fun. Hopefully it take a loooong time because it's going to be raining today and they can't go outside to run around and play in the snow.

DH isn't supposed to be home till 10pm tonight so he won't be helpful.

My boys are playing golf today if it doesn't rain (should be really soggy though cause it monsooned and turned cold yesterday) with my dad and then he is coming over here for dinner.

Everyone is still sleeping here. I am enjoying the quiet while it lasts. :tinysmile I need to make bars today to bring to my sister's and run a few errands. Dh has a game tonight, I am going to the 40th party, and my 14 yo nephew is watching my kids at my mom's. Should be a fun night.

Today ds is at a birthday party. After the party we are going to the hanger for a make up party for ds/dn. We will stay at my moms. I'm looking forward to going to our old church Sunday morning. Then to visit my dad. We will come home inbetween the 2 snow storms we are getting this weekend.

Morning all....dh is working out....I am having morning java...did my workout first thing this morning, GO ME! :wiggle:....kids are busy playing...we are heading to the hardware store for some screen...the dog went right through our sliding screen door yesterday....8o and then we have plans to take the kids to the park to kick the ball around....should be a enjoyable and fun day.....

Morning all,

I have been around and not posting very much. Just been very busy with work, and trying to keep up with the house stuff. Emotionally has been a mungle jungle!! But I am doing ok. Just not feeling like posting very much.


Anyway, today is beautifully sunny after a week of rain and flood warnings. It is still to muddy out to do much gardening, but I am getting itching to go out and do something. I have house cleaning, laundry, dd is working on crochet all ready. Just too much that I have to do and not enough time to do what I want to do!!!

Afternoon all! Got as much housecleaning done today as I cared to. Dd phoned and is spending another night at her friends. Dd#2 is off to a birthday party soon and ds went over to mil's. Dh is of course on the computer.

I just "hemmed" a pair of black pants that I want to wear tonight...me and a couple of friend are going to a ladies night out hosted by the Kinettes...supper/raffles/comedian....sounds like it should be fun.

Hello everyone,

Busy day for us. took DS's bowling this am..DS#1 bowled an 100 then an 87..DS#2 got 52 and 40.

We are going to a birthday party at the roller rink this afternoon, dropping off DS#3 with my Mom first. THen we will pick him up after the party and then drive to MIL's house to drop off DS#1,2.
for a sleepover.

Tonight DH and I will go for dinner with DS#3, when he is done work. Then we will come home and watch some movies, and maybe get a good game of monopoly going.I borrowed A Walk To Remember from my sister, we may stop and rent one too.

Thats about it for us...Lots of driving today.

dh flight from home from baltimore was suposed to leave at 4:15 and it hasn't left yet and it's 6:30. The plane he was suposed to fly out on got hit by lightening.

The kids all watched spy kids 2 today and now they are spies. Having fun. Except 1 the young boy (6). He is pretty sure the world is against him today.

We went to the arcade after bowling and he has 97 tickets to get a prize with. What he wanted was 657 tickets. He was very upset and said everything he could get was crappy. And it is very unfair. All the other kids had about the same amount and had no problem. But he was mad. And has remained that way.

Then he keeps coughing because he is running around the house and jumping and it is making him cough because his allergies are acting up. He won't believe me that he should stop, because I'm just being mean and when is his mom coming hom. (not till tomorrow night)

Augh, I need another adult.

And bedtime is approaching and I hope it is much better than last night!!!!

Whew, I'm pooped.
Dd's party was a blast... dh dressed up like a crazy waiter and took their dinner orders and had them howling! lol He's so fun to have around!

They went to bed too late - had to speak to them 3 times to get them to shut up and turn off the flashlights I'd given them. lol

Had a Girl Scout event all day today, then met dh and took dd out for a b'day dinner as today is 'her' day.

Have to make a cake for tomorrow - g'parents and dh's brother and kids are coming over. I can't wait for Monday! lol Seem to have cured the sore throat, but it's moved into my ears - ouch!
