Do you dance? does your spouse?

after breakfast, the kids and I were listening to the radio, while I was cleaning up....I started to twist and dance with ds....he is so funny...dd gets into it too...but poor dh...never learned and always feels so silly.....I heard him tell ds after we were done....never stop dancing...always dance, no matter what anyone says to you....LOL...funny cuz I can't get that man on the dance floor for nothing.....I love to dance......

I like to dance but I suck at it. Brichard loves to dance and is quite comical! When we all get together ask him to do the fertilizer man, lawnmower, and the lawnsprinkler. :lol:

I love to dance. I don't know if dh likes to or not, but he's not very good at it and he doesn't dance very often. If I want to dance I have to make sure there are other people, mostly women, around to dance with...I'll go all night long, lol.

I love to dance...dh will dance at weddings/parties etc. with me or a group of friends. We're certainly not GREAT dancers :lol: ...but it's fun!

Love to dance! DH is a great two stepper and jitterbugger...he does the "white man shuffle" if he has to fast dance.

I love to dance... dh will usually only dance with me around the house when were goofing off and being silly. He doesn't usually like dancing in front of a lot of people... but he did dance with me and several other's at our dd's wedding, which surprised the heck out of me. 8o

I think he mostly feels stupid dancing (very self conscience) and thinks everyone who is watching or seeing him dance will criticize or make fun of him, but they never have so... ?( ?( He's actually a pretty good dancer. We've seen several other people on the dance floor who don't have any rhythm/beat what so ever... but they're out there just dancing and having a good time anyway... they don't care, so why should he? LOL I'm glad he's getting better about it because when we go to receptions or whatever... it's nice to have someone to dance with. :)

I must point out that while I do like going to the dance floor... I would not necessarily categorize what I do as "dancing." lol

I do have fun though!

Except for the Macarena, I really have never been able to keep up with dances. I tried to do some line dancing when we were in Houston and I'd just get one step off and never could get back in time. The weird thing is that I have played a muscial instrument and can sing to the beat, so I know how to keep time. I just don't look like it on the floor baby!

Yeah, me too, lol! Only with me, I know dh doesn't like to dance, nor is he very good-- not sure I'm that good either, but I don't care. At any rate, we don't generally go. The last time we were at a dance was at my best friend's wedding. I danced with her five year old niece while dh kept turning down other women's repeated invitations and just sat and watched.
