Prayer Request please

well, got a call 8:00 am....from dh....he isn't feeling right....wants me to take him to the emergency room....so I go get him...he is pale and complaining that he is light headed, disorientated....they get him settled....give him an iv, which took 20 minutes to actually get into him...YIKES he has bad viens....got him on a heart monitor, although he wasn't complaining of heart stuff at this time....better safe than sorry....well three hours later, blood work fine, urine fine....they send him home telling us that he should have the absest in his gun re looked at...and that he might have virus....

I love my husband and am not complaining...but I am wondering if he just didn't feel good...and should have come home? but because of his previous heart problems he was nervous and scared....but we got no answers...he is driving me crazy....I am frantically looking for an Endontist to give us a second opinon on this absest he has on his gum...which they sent him home with antibiotics...and it has since reappears....I am starting to think dh would rather get any diaginosis than none at all....please pray that he is alright...and that we both get through this....:) tia

How scary! Why are guys such a pain when they get sick? ;)
When was the last time he had a COMPLETE physical..blood work, stress test..the whole 9 yards? Maybe he should get one and put his mind at ease.

he had one about 7 months ago.....they just don't give him enough answers...he has to live with his clotting problem...and then there is the MVP (heart skips beats) and this entire absest in his gum....I just got off the phone with the dentist...and she is going to get an emergency visit schedualled for him in the next two days...this needs to be taken care of...especially since patients with heart problems needs to take 4 doses of Antibiotics before seeing the dentist...and his coumadin needs to be stopped 24 hours before surgery....also absest in your gum can lead to infection in your heart if your suceptable, according to the ER doctor...talk about scaring the crude out of me....so...I am waiting for the dental person to call me back....

Why don't they give him enough answers? I don't understand. If he has more questions, why doesn't he ask or does he just not like the answers he is given?

What a pain to go to the dentist!! Hope they get this all worked out.

well, I just got off the phone with the dentist...they have him schedualed for an emergency root canal tommorrow at 1:00 pm.....getting all the perscriptions transferred to the pharmacy now...so he can pre medicate....ARGH!!!!!

please pray for him....since he has the blood clotting problem and this heart thing...I am such a nervous baby when it comes to him going under....I don't let him know it...and wouldn't normally say something here...but I am really scared....I love my husband...and don't understand why a 40 year old would have so many unexplainable problems.....thanks for all your support....

I suspect this is the case...although he has this clotting problem...and we will never know why...that bugs him....and the mvp....no one knows what causes that....I think he just would like a reason....maybe not an answer....thanks for asking that question....I think that is what is bothering him most....NO REASON....and yet....there are lots of things in life that have no reason....I think he is scared as well and I am....fear of the unknown....

Well, tell him to snap out of it! LOL You are right, a ton of things happen for no reason..do you live in fear and let it paralyze you? DH has NEVER known what caused his stroke..we probably never will. He will be on medication for the rest of his life..it sucks but you got to go on. What choice does he have?

well, I am back home.....doing my laundry and acting normal...went to pick up ds...and get dh's script from the pharmacy.....I will be going with him tommorrow....everything is going to be fine....

your absolutely right Ann....no we can't let it paralyze us...he knows this too....I think we tent to want instant answers...and sometimes we just don't get them....oh and he is a MAN after all....no offense Jeff, brichard, David....but lets face it....WHIINNNNN

My Mom had to go to the dentist for an absest on her upper gum today. They drained it and gave her some antibiotics. it really scared me when she told me why she was going to the dentist cause about 3 years ago a friend of my Moms and Dads had one and it turned out to be cancer in his mouth!!!

So it sure scared me when she told me, but all is fine though..

How scary! Glad everything is almost well now. I hope the dentist gets done what needs to be done and that your dh is back to 100%! :)
