Holding at 196!

I actually feel pretty good to be holding on. I indulged a bit this week when dw and I went to the Billy Joel/ Elton John concert. I had bannana's foster (YUM!) over ice cream for dessert. We also had some M&M's at a function at work and I ate way too many of those. I did say "No" to cake twice this last week, but the M&M's were a weak spot! However, I did feel back in control Saturday night. We had a big gathering of friends for a "Mexican Night" theme and I did a good job of limiting my portions. One lady made these Peanut butter balls that were fabulous, but I limited myself to one Saturday and one Sunday.

The workouts were great last week! I got in 4 days and ramped my mileage up to 4 miles. I ran at a 6.3 mph clip and actually cranked it up to 7 mph for the last ten minutes or so on my Friday run. This morning I did 5 miles at 6.2 mph and that is the most I'll be running through the week. I'll start focusing on my speed, but I won't be running more than 50 minutes unless I am doing some long weekend runs. I'd like to slowly ratchet my speed up to 7 mph... but we'll see.

I also did the Pilate workout with dw last night and all I have to say is... Yuck! My body just doesn't move very well that way! It was very uncomfortable for me and when my back started hurting me on one of the exercises I cashed in my chips and gave it up. If I'm going to do a home video workout... I'll stick to Taebo!

Morning y'all,

I joined curves last week. Here it is the official weight 145lbs. I will be doing a 4 day week work out. I am still walking with my buddies although I may have to cut down to 2 miles instead of the usual 3 mile. (I will have to see how this goes. With my new job, The time gets so crunched in the morning. That extra 10 mins. makes a big difference.)

At curves, they weigh once a month. I am hopping to lose 10 lbs before my trip. That is a big goal. We'll see how it goes.

My eating has slack off this weekend. I am just not hungry. Does this have anything to do with the new work out?????

So, I am off and trying hard. Keep up the great work everyone!!!!

I hit my first goal of breaking 200. I was 199 this morning, I lost 2 pounds this week for a total of 27.

I ate two of those peanut butter balls Brichard mentioned. They are such a weakness of mine. I figured I'm doing well and an occasional indulgence will not kill me. I hope!

I had to go out and buy some new pants to wear. I don't want to get too much right now, but my jeans were so baggy! Hooray!
