Ok, heres the scoop! I'm 17 years old, and just recently took on volunteer time as a childcare provider. I am watching the children for about 3 hours on two thursdays a month while their grandparents (who are raising them) attend a Kinship Care meeting. My group can range from 3 kids to 10, and ranges in age from 5 to 12. I need something I can do craft wise to keep them occupied, but I also have a child with ADHD, so it must hold attention. This is asking a lot, I know, but I am at a loss. Any craft ideas you have for this age group would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I work at a pre-school at college for children 3-6 year olds and the children have alot of fun fingerpainting with shaving cream! Get some cookie sheets at the dollar store and have fun.

Also, you can make home made play doo and then let the children go at it...

You could make yourself a craft back pack and change it every week with different crafts.

Reading stories, flannel boards, plays are all alot of fun for all ages

Good luch and enjoy your self.

I don't have any specific ideas, but I would think the older children would enjoy helping the younger ones with the project that you pick.

This may not help much...but maybe you can come up with some kind of Easter craft surprise they can work on for the parents or grand parents....maybe like a picture collage of the kids.

Good luck!
