I lost the pound I gained last week, so I guess I'm back on track. I still need to make some modifications in the way I eat. In particular drinking water continues to be my biggest negative. I do great in the morning and at night, but I need to do a better job of drinking water at work.

My exercise was good last week. I didn't do an 8-mile outdoor run like I would have hoped, but it was way too cold for me to run outside. I did inrease to about 6.6 mph on the treadmill. I'll go for 6.7 mph on my next run. I didn't get in this morning, but I brought stuff so I can go at lunch time.

I find myself at one of those difficult times. I think the hardest thing to do is to know how much and what you can eat to lose, maintain, and gain. I don't think the difference between the three is all that great. A few apples plus or minus per day could be the difference between the three.

It is not all about eating healthy either. One can eat the healthiest foods in the world, but you have to eat the right amount. And when you do cheat, ie, I had a mexican Chimichanga this last Saturday, what does one have to do to "reconcile" the difference?

I think once I start drinking water again and I start watching my portions a little more I'll be fine. I'm not that far away from where I want to be, but I stalled the last time I was in this weight range (193 last year) and just became content with it. I don't look bad where I am at, but I look and feel much better at 180. I will make it this year.... slowly but surely!

How is everybody else doing? Lots of people who originally posted aren't on here anymore. Jeff... what's up?

My weight!!

I am taking the kids to L.A. and Phoenix so hopefully the weather will get me on track again. Won't be doing the mini, but may do the one in October at Fort Ben. They have the full and half option.
The rate I am going maybe the 5k will suit me better ;).

Glad to hear that you are making progress in the right direction. Keep up the great work!!!

I'm back on track...was really good this weekend, even with all the Eating out at Resturants, just making better choices.......been working out more...and feeling better....

Drinking LOTS WATER :fish: and MOVING....got my Pedometer on...going for 10,000 steps a day...already have 7,458 as if right now....did my 1 hour on the tredmill already...

trying to take it slow and steady...not beat myself up with guilt when I slip....

GREAT JOB BRICHARD!
