Okay, well, I went to the doc today. First of all, my ultrasound that I had on Thursday was normal (yay, no gallbladder surgery!) Then I explained what happened with the lab work at the urgent care clinic, and the megaloblastic anemia, and reminded him that it had been "normal" in February, and asked, "So what's up with that?" He looked over the lab reports and explained that the "normal" range was from 80-100, and I was 100 in February, and that as of last week I was 101. (whoopty doo) He said as far as he was concerned, that could even have been a lab error, but even so, one point was not anything to get excited about (I agree). I explained that the dr. who had seen me last week did not tell me the numbers (and he didn't have the numbers from the previous month anyway), that he just told me I was megaloblastic, and the nurse had called me Friday and told me I was anemic too, and that I needed to see my doctor asap, and that they had me all freaked out over it. So then my doctor explained to me very clearly that I am NOT anemic, and my blood is working fine, and he even wrote all the numbers out for me so it would make more sense.
Then he asked me about my tummy ache, and poked around on it, and asked if I'd been stressin' lately. He seemed to think my stomach is producing too much acid (from stress), and gave me some antacid samples to try.
