Have you eaten at Casa Bonita in Denver?

Is that Flying L ranch thing worth it?

Didn't I e-mail you about Casa Bonita? I heard the atmosphere is AWESOME -cliff divers, arcade, caverns (to eat in), puppet shows etc. , but the food is mediocre Mexican. I think the kids would love it and I plan on going up sometime soon.

The flying W ranch is supposed to be good, but the show and music is more geared towards adults. They have a hayride for the kids though.

The restaurant for breakfast is called the Pantry in Green Mountain Falls. Its awesome and Green mountain falls is 15 minutes North of Manitou and you feel like your in the Alps.

You are going to all the place I want to go to! Think your dh wants to join in a polygamist relationship for a week-minus the sex (im enjoying the lack of it since dh has been gone. LOL) ROFL!!! Tell him just think-he would be the hot shot around town with two hottie wives on his arms and 4 adorable kids tagging on!!! All for the small price of a couple of dinners. Boy am I cheap or what!!?? ROFL!!

I told him that we were having breakfast with a friend and her kids while we were in Colorado Springs, and he said "a friend?" Yeah, babe...I've known her for years..did I forget to mention this to you??? LOL

We might want to have Brunch at Green Mountain Falls. It takes me at least 45 minutes to get to Manitou and trying to get the kids together that early may (or may not) be that hard, depending on the day.

I need to call the El Colorado and see if we can get in..I am going to give dh one more day, and then I am taking over!!! LOL
I think he is really torn about trying to fit in Estes Park also..he went to the Y camp as a kid and has great memories of it. I would love to go back and stay there, but this trip I want to do more stuff.

but what is funny is I told my ds that we were going to be meeting a friend of mine in Colorado and he said "oh, an email buddy"...guess he know I don't have any REAL friends!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I love Casa Bonita! :yippee: We try to go there everytime we go to Colorado. We don't go there for the food, but we love the atmosphere, and our kids love it too! Everytime that we go I have to drag David there! :rolleyes:

We stay with our family right outside of Denver. It's so pretty there!!
