Howdy,

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I got 3 days in last week. Does your Curves offer "Curve Bucks"? I got 2 last week. I am working towards 25. When I have that many I can purchase a tee-shirt. We receive a Curves Buck for working out 3 times a week. There was also a drawing for an Easter Prize if you worked out more than 3 times. I didn't win that though!!!

Hope everyone is keeping it up!!!

Hi, Kacee!

Sounds like it's going well for you!

I've been going three times a week and loving it! Don't think we have the Curves Bucks, but they're doing some other promotion to win things (there's a table full of gift items)--not sure what you have to do to get anything, though.

I was going to a Curves that was a bit further from me (in a hoity-toity part of town) and no one said a word to each other there--they even avoided eye-contact. LOL! The girl who worked there was very quiet, too. I switched to a Curves location that is closer to my house and I like it so much better! The girl who works there is so nice and really motivates you and everyone is friendly and people actually talk to each other! Maybe that wouldn't matter to some people, but it makes a difference for me.

Anyway...going well so far. Although, this morning it was very tough to get up after the weekend!

Marla, have you started going again?

Who else here is a member?

Great for you!!!

Yes others please join in. We would love to have other "Curve Chicks". Hey, how do you like that name??? Would you like to suggest another?

Wow, two curves in the same town. We only have 1 and we are very talkative bunch. OK- I am known -as the one with the big mouth. I enjoy encouragement and getting to know others. Let's see our curves has a monthly posting of all persons who have 12 workouts a month or more. I am trying to get to know all the ladies.

We also try to see who can come up with more creative ways to jog - bounce to increase your heartrate. It is good fun!!!

Now, just to get my tee-shirt.

Keep up the great work!!!! I may try for 4 workouts this week.

Oh, I forgot we also have a daily triva question, Wacky Wednesday, silly sock day, and inside-out shirt day. For all of these you can earn a buck. I would say we are a wild bunch of women. I would have a hard time going if no one talked or even looked at each other.

There are also weight incentives. I haven't made it that far yet!!!!!

I am really enjoying it!!!

Ok - "Change stations now!!" HEHHEHEHE. That does get on the nerves after awhile.

As I hang my head in shame, I have to say that no, I haven't started going again.....YET.

Now that my in-laws are back from Florida, I'm hoping that they will meet my kids a couple days after school, and so will my parents...then I'll be able to stop at Curves on my way home from work.

We have Wacky Wednesday too. We also did Curves bucks a little while ago, but we had to use them for a silent auction (I was outbid by somebody). I did get a Curves t-shirt for referring a friend who signed up (but has since stopped going).

You guys are doing great....keep up the good work (and send some of your motivation my way ;) )

I'm surprised by how many people just casually march in place or do some cute-sy side step thing instead of jogging and really sweating. At first, I thought I must just be catching people during their warm up or cool down time, but it's not that.

My cousin says that her Curves alternates steppers with the running boards and that she gets her heart rate up easier with the steppers. Do you have the steppers or just the running boards?

It's tough, Marla...I've been saying how I know I need to exercise for the past year and a half (since my surgery). It's hard to get started (or back into it), but you will and when you do you'll feel great about it. Let us know when you start back up again!
