Introducing new things into the block area!

Hi this is my first time on here........Well need help let me tell you what my problem is and maybe someone out there can help me!
I work with pre-school and their is 4 different groups 4 teacher's, 4 area's and ratio is 10 to 1 and my area is block's what can i do to introduce new thing's into that area.?( Also any idea's for bulletin boards any suggestion's greatly appreciated!

What about making an interactive bulletin board with laminated paper blocks with the letters of the alphabet on them which they could use to spell their name?

Wasn't sure if you were meaning how do you introduce new things or what new things to put in there.....
HOW:
As for introducing new items in a center, what I've done is show the new item to the group during circle time and explain what ever needs to be known about it. That way they know what to do with it.

What to put in:
Maybe add some animals or cars they can use with the blocks.
Or get a rug with roads and such on it that the children could drive trucks on and build bridges or whatever on.

Hmmm can't think of anything else too exciting right now.
