We tried something new tonight and thought I would pass it on. My goal is to make something new once a week. The kids even liked it and it was simple! I served it on fettucini noodles and I used Italian dressing that I had and not in a little packet....

~Creamy Italian Chicken~

4 boneless chicken breast halves
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
1/2 cup water
1 pkg. (8oz) cream cheese, softened
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 can (4oz) mushroom stems and pieces, drained

Place chicken in bottom of crockpot. Combine salad dressing mix and water; pour over chicken. cover and cook on low for 3 hours. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and soup until blended. Stir in mushrooms. Pour over chicken. Cook one hour longer, or until chicken juices run clear. Serve over rice or pasta.

Definitely. I almost didn't put them in because of the kids, but I just was careful when I served theirs and didn't get any on their plates. Enjoy!! :)

We really like it. I think I will make it again tomorrow if the pizza guy is snowed in! :)
