YES!! I love scrapbooking! I am making each of my boys a book and also a family album. It is such a gift to me to get to sit down and relive all of our wonderful family memories!! I mostly use Creative Memories products-what do you use?

Bought the supplies to get started but haven't got there yet! :)
I would like to make one for each of the kids. I also would like to make a special "Memories of the last ten year book" for dh for our anniversary in July.

I will let you know. I think we are doing something like 12 pages from 5-11pm? I have got to get caught up with these books!! I haven't scrapped in over a year. When we bought this house I made sure I had my own "craft room" and have yet to do anything in it. Well, except hide and wrap presents. ARG!!

Some days I wish I had my own room like that so I could HIDE!

Speaking of wrapping presents - Ds turns four at the end of the month. Lately he has been asking me if he can help me wrap his presents. He goes so far as to tell me that I can put them in boxes so he can't see them - he just likes wrapping! :)

MM! Like most things in my life, I walk to the beat of a different drum. I scrap using all sorts of products.
While in NJ, I discovered a scrapping store through a woman I worked with. It's called the Scrapbook Station. They have EVERYTHING!!!!! Walls of stickers ( Me and my big ideas wins hands down), rows of paper (every background you can imagine), dye-cuts (they even have a huge selection of dye-cut templates you can use in their workshop area free!!!!), pens, templates for layouts, books, magazines, paperkins oh I could go on and on. I bought a slew of stuff before I left and have my handy dandy sister who can run over there when I'm having a scrapping crisis.
Now that I am back home, I have so many pictures to scrap. lol I visited a web site yesterday where scrappers could display their work. Great site to gather ideas.
I'm going to add my pages to my web site just as soon as I find the software to use the scanner . Maybe in a few months or so. It seems I wasn't as efficient as I thought when I packed.

Just a quick tip. My friend Jamie color copies her pages and makes theme books to give to grandma and family throughout the year. Also, she's making a copy of each page to give her daughters when they are older. Her daughters (12,11,&9) also scrap their own pictures of friends and school. They do a really great job.

I use all different sorts of supplies too. I will only use Creative Memories books though. They are great. I also enjoy CM because they have these sessions where I have to go scrap!! They did just put in a scrapbook store near me that I have yet to visit. I think I may go today!! Thanks for getting me motivated Arianna!

I too like to scrape book, but you ladies are far more advanced than I am. I just use what I find a the local Wal-mart. I do get to use the die cut machines at school and at our co-op. I haven't done any pages since last summer though, so I need to start back up. Too busy from now till schools out though. I like the idea of color copying the pages.

arianna, where is that web site you went to?

I wish I could do something like this but I uaually don't have the time OR the patience to do it... I have a friend who's into scrapping and she's done a lot of beautiful work. Right now she's working on one as a gift for her mom and dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary. I'm SO envious~

bye...

Darling, you have no idea... :newwink:

I have 2 complete albums, 3 almost complete albums, 2 kids albums that I'm working on, and 2 that I havn't started on yet. I use a lot of differant papers but I'm not real big on stickers. A friend of mine is almost as big a fanatic as I am. She comes over every week to scrapbook.

My biggest project is my father's geneology album. It's almost done but I keep finding new info. I've been using my computer to scan, inhance and print old photos. I use CM photo paper. I used to use epson photo paper but the photos started to fade within months. I really want one of those new archival printers.

Thanks for the links. Here's my favorite:

Yes, I scrapbook. Wish I had more time to do it!!!! I find it easy to do...especially since I do so many bulletin boards in my classroom. Scrapbooking is similar...just on a smaller scale! I do 8 1/2 x 11 pages....and while I like to use the "fancy" papers...I find myself usually grabbing the plain colored papers, and creating something. I use stickers, lots of markers, die cuts, and tons of imagination. My latest page was about my ds's first time on ice skates...and the photos were on a page with a giant ice skate (using paper and "aluminum foil" for the blade). It's a fun hobby...and makes looking at albums soooooooooooo much fun! I also love to write (journal) on my pages.

I visit the Scrapbook Station in Voorhees frequently. It is only 20 minutes from my house. It is a good thing that it isn't closer!!!!
