Well, it is Tuesday. I have to take the truck in to have tires rotated and balanced. It was supposed to be done 1,000 miles ago to keep our free tires for life. I hope this hasn't messed it up. I also need to finish picking up the limbs in our yard. I guess when we were in Jacksonville, there was a storm that came through, and we have lots and lots of limbs in our yard. I started picking them up yesterday, but I didn't finish. My spare bedroom needs to be cleaned out. It has became the storage room. Everything that doesn't have a place gets thrown in there, so I guess I will have to find everything a home. I also have to run by the school and find out why they aren't calling me. I guess that is about it. Hope everyone has a great day.

I woke up VERY early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep... so I just got up. :\ It's actually kind of nice waking up before everyone else and having some quiet time to myself before everyone else wakes up and before the dck's start arriving. :) I may make it a point to set my alarm clock a little earlier so I can do it more often. :)
My knee's have been bothering me a lot lately... I could hardly walk yesterday! Everyone say's it's the damp weather... but that never seemed to bother me before so, who knows. They feel much better this morning... so I'm hoping that continues. I hate feeling old! LOL
Not too much on my agenda today... so far it looks like rain but I think it's suppose to clear up by noon. I know the kids will appreciate that... they just LOVE spending their time outside. I've got some yard work to do, so I'm hoping it clears up so I can work on that while they play. I can hardly wait to get all of my hanging baskets and flowers planted.
Anyway...... I hope you all have a wonderful day today!
Morning. Hot, muggy again..wish it would rain!! Errands, laundry.....DS isn't making it to school today.

Both dks have school, but in btwn drop-offs I am taking youngest ds to the library. Not sure what I'll do during my free time - either run home and work on laundry or hit some antique shops...oh, such a tough decision. ;)
cool and looks like rain here too :( gotta get ds off to the bus...then take dd with me to the doctors......I am hoping they can remove the tags in the office....that would be so cool....keep your fingers crossed for me please....then I have to get dd to school....then hit the office.....its been so slow there...I am sure they will be cutting hours soon....business will pick up again in July....so it will be a nice break for me....this time, because I know its coming.....;)

I posted under Monday's thread that they are now treating him for Crohn's with steroids.
WOW, just read Monday's thread, must have missed that one....will the steriods stop the BM's? sorry I am clueless as to what they do ?( I feel so bad for you ds and your entire family, this can't be easy....(((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))
When it rains it pours... it's been a long few days here and I'm hoping that today is the start of some better days. The end of last week dd got sick with something that made her really tired- to the point that all she was doing was sleeping. She's finally over that and feeling better. Ds fractured his thoumb Friday night on a friend's trampoline and didn't tell me or my dh until Saturday morning that he'd even hurt it. Spent part of Saturday in the ER. Then had to go to the hospital again yesterday to get him a cast. He'll have it on until June 10th. Luckily there is no ligament damage and it's a clean fracture so it should heal good. I spend Sat night/Sunday morning throwing up! Feel good now though. And my cat swallowed a 12 inch long piece of thin craft ribbon. We are watching her like a hawk to see if there are any signs that it's stuck in her system. But so far so good. Now if she'd just pass the darn thing so that we can have this over and done with. I'm supposed to be giving her a lot of hairball medicine to get it out sooner, but the hates the stuff!
Hope all is going well with everyone. I'll have to try and catch up around here. I have 9 dck's today, so hopefully by tomorrow I can get caught up!
Ann, I'm sorry that ds isn't doing any better.

Morning ~
It's a very grey day here...It rained last night and supposed to do some today...Think I'm finally gonna go do that shopping. My ankle is still hurting but hopefully I'll get the shopping done before it's to bad. I must have done something to it last week. It's the weirdest thing how it came out of nowhere.
You know I was thinking of all you guys lastnight....I don't know if any of you were affected by those storms....but I hope they didn't do too much damage.
Hope you all have a great day!
Jen, bless your heart..what a horrible weekend!!!! Wonder what your dd had? I think sleeping all the time sounds wonderful ;)
Glad that your ds' break wasn't too awful and glad you are feeling better!
Renee, the steriods will supposedly help with the inflammation in the colon and give him some energy. It's sort of a first line treatment for IBS/Crohn's disease.
Cute story, yesterday a freind of ds's came over and they were talking and he said that the MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) group had been praying for ds. Someone asked what was wrong, and the leader said "he is having problems with his colon" and another boy ask "what's the colon??" :)

Morning all,
Cant remember if I posted this or not. Went to the Dr.s yesterday. He started me on an inhaler to help my cough nad breathing. DS#3 maybe lactose intolerant so we are starting him on a soy based formula.
Now he woke up this morning with oral thrush:banghead: I know its that he has had it before. Now I am debating about going to the Dr.s office yet again today taking 3 dck's with me or just calling and see if he will give a scrip over the phone.
The snow seems to have stopped and the sun is trying poke through so I hope to get DK's outside today.
Doing the laundry that I didnt do yesterday today and going to make some peanut butter cookies. Also DS#3 has to go to clinic for his 6 month shots this afternoon.
Ann-I am praying for DS and your family. It must be so hard. Can not imagine. Hope the steroids help him quickly..
Rhonda, if he's got to go get his shots, can they not give him a script at the same time?
Hope the inhalers works for you.
Thanks.

Nope, cause I get his shots done at the local health unit where just the public health gives them. They cant do scrips..Think I am just going to call and see...
Thanks Ann
Rhonda, never hurts to try. My doctor is pretty good to give prescriptions over the phone if either of us is swamped.
Ann, {{{{hugs & continued prayers}}}}
Jen, what a weekend.
Karla, I vote for antiques.
Diane, l would love to get back in the habit of getting up long before everyone else. It's so peaceful then.
Hot and muggy for us again today. 3rd day to be in tornado watch. Supposed to be this way all week. Still had very little rain. It seems to hit all around us.
I made it to school today, kinda. I forgot to take any pepto this am and by the time I hit the campus I was beginning to doubt I'd make it to class. I hit the side door of the cafeteria and raced to the bathrooms with ds calling behind me to give him the keys to my room. I get inside and someone thought it would be cute to lock all the stalls from the inside. By the time I thought to use my ID card to unlock a door it was too late. I had to drive all the way home and change clothes. My aide told me I should just stay home but I wasn't thrilled with the sub I had yesterday and knew I had 2 days work to get through. Took the pepto & sipped Sprite all day. Mission accomplished.
TMI I guess, but that was my eventful day.
The administration played apple basket turnover yesterday announcing new class assignments. Many teachers were switched to different grades. Seems the superintendent took the 3rd grade teachers and moved them to 4th and moved a couple of his best 2nd grade teachers to 3rd and moved one 2nd down to first. No 1st or kdg. teachers were moved. It all has to do with benchmark exams and the fact that we lost 2 fine 4th grade teachers this year. We closed a small satellite school with only 30+ kids and incorporated their teachers with ours next year. (These teachers had more senority than the 2 excellent teachers we let go.) Anyway, I was just thankful I didn't get moved. We never had to worry about class assignments until we got this new superintendent. I don't like the idea of shuffling around. I have too much time, energy, not to mention money tied up in kdg. to move. To say the least there are some upset teachers at our school.
