View Full Version : Race - Running/Walking & Reunion
A lot of you have talked about a reunion/getting together. What about doing it with a purpose that many of us are trying to accomplish anyway? Fitness and weightloss. Find a race in 2004 that would accomodate walkers and runners. I know Indianapolis has the race in May that brich just did that covers walkers 5k, runners 5k, wheelchairs 1/2 marathon, and runners 1/2 marathon and a race in October that I believe has the same options for people as well as a full marathon too. I would think that other cities would have the same options or even more.
Any thoughts?

Wait a minute. I thought you and your cute self could be the Cheerleader!!!!
HEHHHEHHEHEEHEHHE. I was going to offer to be the water station lady.
Me in a short skirt. That's scary. That's what's so great about capri pants. They hide all the cellulite that inches farther down each year.

But I'm not one of the people most likely to mingle, so don't go by me.

That's a cool idea, Jeff!
I personally don't run around the block, so I doubt if I'd fly across country to run, either! LOL ;)
Anyone's welcome to come here the end of the month for Relay for Life, tho! LOL We'll be up all night and can get to know each other REAL well! 8o

Jeff,
I'd be all for it... esp. if it were in Indy! I would like to try a full marathon... I keep debating it, but I'm not getting any younger! However, if I did run the marathon, I'd need the wheelchair for the rest of the day! lol!
