Went to the doctor for my return to work note for next week. I'm going back tues. I'm glad to go back. I missed all my little ones. today more then ever.
About 11:00 this morning the phone rang and when I answered it I heard a chorus of little voices sing out
"Good morning to you" and song we sing to start out each day. (they had it on the speaker phone) Each child then picked up the phone and said a few words. A lot of them were really shy. By the time I hung up, I was in tears. My co-worker said that they keep asking when I'm coming back and have been making me a big pile of cards. So finally one of the kids asked if they could have my phone number so they could call me from home. They can't give out my number but made a group call instread. Got my morning off to a good start too.

As for the "yikes"
Doc. is almost positive he heard TWO heartbeats when checking out the baby this afternoon. I have to go for an ultrasound on Mon. I was just getting use to the idea of one, what am I ever going to do with two. :tearhair:
We are looking at a due date of late Dec. early Jan.
(a New year baby - or should I say babies?)

Where have I been - didn't know you were off work or pregnant. Congratulations though. Two is kind of a scary thought. We have a family of triplets in our neighborhood. You should see that stroller!

Hooray for twins!!! Double the love!! My dh is an identical twin. His cousin has identical twins. His sister has fraternal twins.

How are you feeling? I hear having twins makes you twice as sick. :dazed:

Yay for you! Twins! So very cool. Yes, I imagine it is very hard in the beginning, but parenting is hard! In the end you'll have a noisy, wonderful houseful! Love to you! Amy

How sweet of those kids... they must really love you a lot!   I would have cried too. That was really nice of them. I'll bet you're really looking forward to going back to work. :) Good for you!! :)

My best girlfriends dd is having twins. Their not suppose to be due until the end of May but they will be taking them in about two weeks... if they can keep them from delivering before that time. :) It seems as if their pretty anxious to make their appearance and meet their mommy and daddy. LOL I always wanted twins... I thought it would be a lot of fun. LOL Good luck though and make sure you let us know how the ultrasound goes. :)

Bye.

Wow, Ryleigh! Congratulations! I imagine it would be a bit overwhelming at first, but you have some time to adjust to the idea. :)

My great-grandma had a set of twins and when they were two years old, she gave birth to ANOTHER set of twins! Yikes! Talk about having your hands full! And she had 5 other kids, too! LOL!

Let us know how the ultra sound goes! :)

Congratulations. I guess it might feel a little challenging, especially since you were surprised by the pregnancy. YIKES seems like just the right word.
I'm glad you're feeling better and looking forward to going back to work. It's wonderful to get that kind of love and affection from your students, isn't it?

Glad to hear you got the all clear from your doctor. How sweet of your kids to make that call. I bet that was the best medicine of all. Yikes is right! But, twice the joy. How is dh taking the news?
