I really need a day off. This week has been crazy busy, and it is just going to get busier.

Finishing up at one job, and then starting full time at camp :bounce: :bounce:

I'm having a hard time believing that camp is starting soon, because we definately haven't had spring yet

Great news, my grandfather came home on Friday :happydnc: :happydnc: He is doing much better. The only thing is that he has to be under isolation at home for 10 days, so we still can't visit him. My mom got the okay to go up there (as he lives on his own) as long as she is wearing a mask and gloves. This whole SARS thing is unbelievable :\

No plans for today :yippee: ; maybe take the kids to a movie or something.

Have a great day everyone....what are you all doing today?

Sorry...I'm cranky. Not much planned today.

Another dull day here, we have had rain everyday this week.
Don't have much ambition either, besides the dull weather, I am in the midst of a struggle for a building that I want for a new home for our gymnastics club, another group wants it too - they want to use it 8 days a years and leave it empty the rest - at a cost to the town of $10,000 a year, gymnastics would be using it 5 days a week year round, and paying rent accordingly. The other group is all seniors and they can get so nasty! I'm just praying the town will look at it from an economical point of view, and not give in out of pity. Was supose to have an answer this week, but the other group kind of attack council on Monday night so now we have to wait till the 17th. I could be a nervous wreck by then!
Not much planned today, CBC is televising the gymnastics competition that I volunteered at a few weeks ago, so will watch that, depends on how much editing they did I might even be seeing myself!!(For anyone getting CBC it's on at 2:30ET)

Marla - glad your grandfather is doing better
AnnW- nice to hear that you had an enjoyable evening out, hope it makes up for not having any alone time!
Renee-enjoy your day with your kids

Have a good day all.

Hola!!!
Let's see today.. study, study, study! LOL I have a rough draft of a formal paper due tomorrow night, so I'll be digging into the virtual library for references to my topic... yuck... writing's been fun up til now! I like writing my way! Don't like all this formal stuff! But the class is great! Hard to believe I'm halfway thru week 4 of 5! wow! time flies! So far, I have a A.. so I'm a happy girl! Going out with some friends tonight :yippee: Can't wait! Of course it's nasty and raining for our night out! Oh well, it'll still be fun!

Marla - so glad your grandfather is home! Great news!
Fern - good luck to you on getting the building... fight those nasty seniors with fire!
Bev - this has been a weird year for us weather-wise also! We've been having wonderful spring-temp days for the past 3 weeks! Very odd for TN! Maybe your spring is on it's way!

Ann take me to the Pool!!! PLEEEEEASE!!!!!!

It is so **^^&&^& cold here, and raining again. Our high should be 60 today. Wooo Hooo!!!

Okay got that out of my system.

DD is at girl scout camp today. That should be fun in the rain! But they have a lot of buildings to use at the camp for just such an occasion. And frogs tend to come out in this yucky weather so I'm sure she'll have fun.

DS and I are going to go book the place he wants his birthday party at in a little while other than that just laundry day.

Marla glad to hear your grandfather is doing better!!!!

Afternoon all! Am ready for a hot bath! We were at the elementary school this am weeding the outdoor classroom area and installing 6 benches. 4 of which weighted 800 lbs each! Luckily we had the use of a forklift and a few dads.

Quiet house...ds has gone to an overnight bday party. Middle dd has gone to mil's and oldest dd has her best friend over and they are out bike riding.

Already put supper in the oven, so think I will catch up here and then go start a book I picked up at the library.

Marla...good news about your grandfather...let's hope this SARS is almost over. Camp already? Wow! Did you ever figure out a title for yourself?

Bev...what time is the yardsale....missed all the ones today with working at the school! I am a yardsale junkie!

Vea...hope you get some rest tonight!

Ann...our weather isn't even close to going to the pool yet. We had almost 2" of rain yesterday and it is cool and cloudy today.

Jen...our kids want to see Daddy Daycare too. Let me know if you/dd likes it.

Renee...sounds like a perfect Saturday....doing what you enjoy!

Fern...wish I would have got here sooner and read your post about the broadcast...would have been fun watching for you! Hope you get your building.

Amy... :yippee: sounds like you are an awsome student! How is Reece enjoying Shadow? Still a love relationship? Or has the novelty worn off?

Linda...birthday parties! Dreading those again. Dd's is next Friday and she has a list of 8 friends she wants to invite....not even sure what we will do to entertain them!

:)

Have my sister's 3 kids here until tomorrow. They were up late last night and up early today. This morning we all went to oldest ds's t-ball game. :) They have all been playing so well together - I hope it lasts. LOL! There's an airshow at the airport today, which is right by our house, so we got to see that from our backyard - so neat!

Marla - Great news about your gpa!! :yippee:

Amy - WTG with the A!! :thumb:

Fern - Hope things work out for gymanstics to get the building! Keep us updated!!

Went to ds & dil's new place today and helped unpack some kitchen things.

Took the boat to the lake and the boys went tubbing. Ds slid off once and has a nasty friction burn from his elbow to his wrist. I thought the water was still a little cold.

Talked dh into shopping with me this evening. He wasn't thrilled about going. I told him we could think of it as quality time, and lots of couples shop together. He of course said, "name one". So I did, and who should we meet in the parking lot but the very couple I named. I got a kick out of that.
