Finally found a Reasonable Supermarket

I have lived in California for almost a year.....shopped at a few different Chains....always amazed at how expensive the food is....while I was out Saturday I found a Supermarket Chain I hadn't seen since I was a kid growing up around 20 years ago...its called Stater Bros......they are now owned with Vons...but...they still have the best prices in town...its a little farther to go than my normal supermarket...but I think it will be worth it.....found dh's BOCA products....$1. to 1.5 cheaper....

just thought I would share.....I don't think I will ever get used to the price of food.....

Feels great to find a bargain. I complained horribly last week when I restocked. Prices here are too high and I know they are even higher where you are.

Do you have a Wild Oats up there. They ahve one in Irvine. They are a bit pricey but tend to have good sales on things like boca. Sams Club and Costco also have boca and they are individually wrapped.
