Next week we are having restaurant week. Each day we will pretend to work and eat at a different restaurant. In our community the choices are quite limited so I had to pick a couple restaurants from bigger cities. One of them is a Taco John's. I have never been in one in my life(don't like tacos myself).

Can anyone tell me what things make the place unique that I could re-create in the center? I already wrote a letter to the closest restaurant inquiring about getting bags/boxes they use, but received no reply.

I'd greatly appreciate any help!
Thanks!!

I haven't been in a Taco John's in years! As in over a decade!! I remember Taco Tuesdays and Softshell Saturdays. Our's used real cheese instead of that fake stuff at Taco Bell. Of course, it was in Wisconsin and like I said, that was a loooong time ago. I can't remember the name of the little potatoes they had, but at the time no other fast food joint had them. Now I've seen them at other places. They were like tater tots cut in thirds. Still round just not as long. The seasoning was similar to Lawry's Season salt, a personal favorite! I can't remember there being any kind of *trademark* like McDonald's arches, Jack in the Box's *Jack* or anything like that.

One of the only things I have left from my childhood is a set of glasses from Taco John's. They had Bugs Bunny and his crew on them and were clear real glass.

Sorry not much help....never heard of it....We have Taco Bell but I can't think of anything specific that you could use. I always find that activity to be the hardest to plan unless you can get a menu.

Do they have a web site that you can maybe copy and past a menu from?

Good luck.
