If I don't get a job at the school system, and I wind up with the preschool job, I was thinking of trying to write a book, using the themes that I used with the children all year long. For example say the first week was apples, I would write what crafts we did, and what snacks we ate, what activities, books, etc were used.

My question for ya'll is do you think that this would be a good idea. I know that there are so many out there, so would this be a waste of my time?

Thanks for your input.

I think "theme idea" books are always a good idea, and very helpful. However, there are A MILLION of them on the market...you'd have to find a niche~something to make your book stand out from the others.

I'd love to write a fiction story for children...just haven't had the motivation to do it yet! Sometimes when I'm teaching a unit, I'll wish there were more books pertaining to that unit (shapes, for example...) and think about coming up with something.

I thin it would be a great Idea...many of those books are limited to the activities. Alot cover things like art activities for themes. so I think if you do some research and maybe do the least covered activities It would bee great.

I know like when I was a student and I had to come up with math activities or science...the sources were limited.

You can never have too many Art lesson source books in my opition ( my favorite activity).
