View Full Version : Beach party
Hi....new gal here and I'm planning on having a beach party at the local lake for my 9 year old son. I'd appreciate any ideas you have for games, snack and such. Thanks in advance for all your responses.

For an acitivity, you could decorate caps with puffy paint to keep the sun out of their eyes or maybe you could have them all bring a towel to decorate. You could have the children try and build the biggest sand castle. You could buy cheap shovels and pails at a dollar store to serve as goody bags. You might have some float relay races, or a find the crab relay race.(you put a plastic crabs [enough for each child}in a bucket of sand. The first person runs to the bucket finds the plastic crab, sets it on a plate, runs back tags the other person, and that person does the same thing until all children have gone) For snacks, you could have fruit roll ups (beach towels) and gummy bears (people for the towels).
I hope this helps you get started. When I am less tired, I will try to think of more.
Hope he has a great birthday! :)
Thanks for those cute ideas. *S*

Your welcome.
Also you could do colored sunblock lotion painting, or a win lose or draw game in the sand. (to make it tricky use your toes to draw)
