Just building suspense!
Actually I'm afraid to say it. x 2 was a bit off. Try x3.
Yup, that's right, TRIPLETS. If I wasn't scared before, I am now. Haven't told dh yet. Waiting until he gets home.
I'm suppose to go for a follow up next week but I'm almost afraid to go. It seems every time I see a doctor they find another one. I wasn't planning on even one and now three. I don't know what to think.
"I WANT MY MOMMY!!!" Mommies can always make everything ok. Don't know what she can do about this though.
I don't know whether to be happy or cry. My emotions are all mixed up. When they first told me, I guess I was silent for so long they were asking "Are you ok?"
I don't know if I will ever be ok again. Can you get a nerve transplant, mine are shot.
dh is due home about 6:00. then we go to mil for supper. I want to tell him before we go but have to figure out how I am going to go about it.
Wish me luck!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! really??? WOW!!!
maybe buy some of those it's a boy/girl candy cigars and keep giving them to him??

I couldn't believe it when I read it!!! Ryleigh!!!!!! Triplets!
I know you must be overwhelmed. I'd love to be there when you tell your dh. Just to see the look on his face!
Wow, how blessed you are. I will pray for a healthy pregnancy and healthy babies!!

Just told dh the news. He hasn't said anything yet. Just sort of stared at me. Sat down for a few moments and is now in the shower. ds overheard me telling dh and is bouncing off the walls. His first comment was,
"We'll have a whole team soon!" I hope not!
There are triplets on both sides of my family so I guess it could be expected. I can't wait to see the expression on mil face when we tell her tonight. Of course the snooty cousin will also be there. She'll likely have some comment. I could smack her already and I've only seen her for a couple of hours.

Hi gals and guys,
Brian here. Now tell me. What in the world is Ryleigh trying to do to me? Three babies. Good thing I am getting a promotion.
Thought it was about time I got my own screen name rather than borrowing Ryleighs all the time. Big Daddy seemed appropriate don't you think. I'm so overwhelmed!

WOW!! I'm sure it's overwhelming right now, but I think it's exciting (doesn't have anything to do with the fact that it's you and not me lol!)!! Hang in there as the news sinks in and be sure to lean on us anytime! Brian, I commend you for handling the news so well, I think my dh would have run away! LOL! Best wishes for healthy babies and a trouble free pregnancy...no morning sickness. :)

No there are no more babies -- just three!
I phoned my mom and gave her the news, she's very excited. Said she is going to start making Christening gowns. She's very handy at sewing and knitting. She's from a small town so it's likely the whole town knows by now. You should see my e-mail mail box.
When we told MIL, she looked like she was going to pass out. All night she was fussing over me. 'you should sit down dear' 'it's ok. we'll take care of the dishes, keep your feet up.' It's nice to be pampered but it was getting a bit annoying as the night went on. She means well, but I don't know how I am going to get through the next eight months
Snooty cousin didn't get a chance to say much. Everyone else was so excited she didn't get a chance.
dk's are taking the news as well as expected. ds, very excited. Want to keep them all in his room. Said he needs a raise in allowence because he has to buy two more mini hockey sticks. dd, very quiet, but I can tell it is bothering her. I am going to talk to her tonight and see if I can help her feel a little better. I can feel her pulling futher away all the time. She has hardly spoke to me since we first found out I was pregnant, and is now even more quiet. I'm beginning to worry about her.

Yes, we have decided to go for the job promotion. It couldn't have come at a better time. Moving will be hard, but we have lot's of friends and family to help out and we're not going too far. Not sure when we are going yet. Likely July or Aug. We want the kids to at least finish the school year here. We are going to BIL's house for the 2-4 weekend so will do some house hunting then. Likely in the Mississauga,Brampton area.
Lot's of family close by there.

Glad your family is as excited as we are! :) Hopefully your dd will come around soon. I am sure it is overwhelming for her too and she may be worried about getting "left behind in the shuffle". You're obviously very aware of her emotions and are very prominent in your dks lives, so I am sure everything will work out. Good luck! And, good luck with your move. You guys have a lot going on right now, but it will all come together. I still get an ear to ear grin when I think about you having triplets!! How exciting!! :) :) :)
Pretty dramatic way to shut snotty cousin up dont' cha think??? LOL
I hope dd comes around really soon!

I'm glad that everybody is so happy with the news about the triplets... :) I hope dd will come around soon. I agree that she could be a little anxious about getting left behind in the shuffle... A big change like that can be a little scary for a child. I"m sure that as the pregnancy progresses... she'll definitely start getting more and more excited about it. Just try to involve her as much as you can... keep her feeling important!!! Too funny about the snotty cousin... your good news probably put her in shock and left her speechless. LOL :) Good news about the promotion and the upcoming move. Sounds like you have a lot to look forward to. :)

Is dd more concerned about the pregnancy or the move?? She is 9?? Let us know how the discussion goes.
BTW - I totally have baby fever now. I told my dh and he said, "is it because of Ryleigh?" I said, "yep."
So, Angie...you and Brichard going to be making an annoucement soon??????? :newwink:
I think I understand you dd's feelings. In every family I know, the oldest is the most angry with the news. Because the are the oldest, they get the least amount of attention and the most responsiblities. Even with two kids, my dd doesn't like the fact that she has more responsibilites and less attention from me compared to her db. Having another baby probably makes her feel she will be pushed even further back on the burner. Now that your are having triplets, Im sure she is feeling the pressure of having even more responsibilites and no attention-like her childhood just ended.
I can understand her perfectly, but have no great ideas on how you can change those feelings around. I guess more one on one attention??
Good luck! You are going to do great!!

I agree with Amy and don't think you are doing anything wrong, but maybe try to plan "date" night with your dd so she has you all to herself. Good luck!! :)
And, angie - I also have the same baby fever reaction!! But there won't be any news from us - too much going on right now to even consider that! :) So Ryleigh, you have to post throughout your pregnancy - all of your emotions, changes you are going through, etc so we can enjoy it thru you without going through all of the work! :) I still get the  whenever I think about you having triplets!! Hopefully things will improve with your dd soon so you can start to enjoy your pregnancy and look forward to the future. Hang in there!! :)
