Koolaid/glue paint
Mix 1/4 cup of all purpose glue (like Elmers) with one packet of unsweetened kool aid. Stir with a paint brush. Leaves a sweet smelling glossy looking picture.
Shaving cream/glue paint:
Combine shaving cream and all purpose glue (like Elmers). Let children paint it with fingers just like when playing with shaving cream alone. Food coloring can be added if desired. When dry it makes a sort of puffy paint --It feels very soft.
Makes great ice cream or snow pictures.
Sidewalk paint--
Mix cornstarch, water and food coloring together. Let children paint on sidewalks, driveways, etc. It can be washed off or let rain wash it away.
