He will be missed. What a great entertainer. I remember watching those old ROAD movies.....Sad morning news...

Wow, I haven't turned on the tv today. It's sad that he died, but he's looked really bad for a long time now. He lived a great long life!

I heard about it when I turned the news on this morning... very sad! :( I remember watcing him (and Bing Crosby) when I was little... he was quite the entertainer. He will be missed.

This is one man that was very well loved by the military. He did alot for the USO and made alot of people feel appreciated. Whenever his name came up, I heard nothing but praise, and whenever the topic of the USO came up, his name was mentioned. Not only for the entertaining he did for the troop, giving up his own holidays, but also bringing in others like Brook Shields. He will be very missed.
