when was the last time you spent an hour alone?

Hmmm...not including the time when dks are in bed (but I'm still awake).... I guess, probably Tuesday. Dh works from our home at this time...so I can easily run errands during the day by myself. It's great!!!!

Actually... because of my children's ages, it happens quite often. Dd #2 attends evening classes two nights out of the week and dd #3 is usually either working or with her boyfriend...

It's funny because when they were little I use to dream of the day when I could actually have some (quiet) time to myself. Now that they are gone I find myself missing all the hustle and bustle of having the kids around... it's almost too quiet. LOL After I've had a long and noisy, hard day with the day care kids though... it's really nice to be able to sit back and relax in the "quiet" of my house. LOL

I can't remember the last time. I did go to the grocery store alone a few weeks ago I think.

A couple of weeks ago when all the kids were at camp and dh was at the shop.
Doesn't happen very often around here.

A couple weekends ago when dh took the girls and ds #3 camping and BIL took the older two dss for the weekend. I spent the majority of the time working on things for the preschool.

I am finding myself wanting that alone time more and more.

If I'm not with dks, I'm with dh and my kids are with my friends or with friends and the kids are with dh. The last time I was totally alone was a 20 minute earand I ran last week. Before that I was in the college library studying for spring finals.
