smiley faces and other icons...

in the middle of the posts. How do you do that? I'm not sure I have figured out this new board yet, but I sure am trying! Althought not only am I dealing with the new board I'm dealing with a new computer! UGH!

you can either just type in a regular smiley face mid sentence or you can type one of the codes bracketed by colons
like this
hi jen (regular happy face ) :) are you getting used to alaska?

I'm just now starting to use them and I'm not a Newbie anymore! Go down to the bottom of this page and click on "Smilies". It will open a new page in your browser and give you the codes and the graphics that appear with each code.

I printed out the list too. Makes it easier than bringing up the smilies page each time, or trying to remember them all. :goofy:

Jen, when you go to post a reply you can click on the word Smilies and get a list of all the codes. Like Ann I printed it off and keep it by the :computer: .
