Morning all. DD saw the dr again this morning. Her red blood count is at 60....average person is at 120-140! So she is definately anemic. Now the dr. wants to find out what is causing it. Her diet hasn't changed lately and she hasn't started her periods yet.
She had to "donate" 5 more tubes of blood. That wasn't fun at all! 2 different techs this time and 3 pokes later! No-one was on staff at the time to use the butterfly!
She also has to do a urine and stool sample. She is grossed out by the latter! :lol:
Now a long week of waiting as the blood samples have to be sent away for analasis....most likely the results won't be back until next Friday. :(
To top off my week, ds took a header off his bike last night and ended up taking him into emergency! Luckily no stitches, but they did tape up his knee. He is a little sore and bruised this morning, but otherwise okay.
