What happened to Rosie O'Donnell

I know she cut her arm a while back and it got infected, but why is she wearing a tube and med pack??

Bad staph infection. Thought they might have to amputate.

Its a drip for anti-biotics against the Staph infection. She said she was extremely afraid of amputation or even death if it spread.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew she had been in the hospital with an infection...

She cut her hand with a knife accidentally. It seems like weeks later they went back in to repair some tedons that didn't properly set. (She looked like she was always giving the *bird*.) After the surgery she got the infection. No fun when you are a single parent of four children!

I think she said she cut it while trying to take the tag off of a fishing pole.

Has anyone got a look at her new magazine yet. One of my co-workers brought me a copy while I was in the hosp. I haven't had the chance to take a good look at it yet but what I did look at was ok.

I am about half way through it. It is ok, lots and lots of ads. The Fran Dresher cancer story is very good. I also enjoyed the story about her adopted daughter Mia.

I have the mag but haven't had alot of time to check it out. What I've seen so far is almost a carbon copy of O mag.

WOW! I didn't know the lastest on her hand!!! I saw Rodger from Survivor on there briefly today and I guess I didn't even notice. I haven't seen her new magazine either.

just cutting that tag off the fishing pole and then all this....she is funny about it thought, did you see her give Rodger and his family a Hyatt vacation package, that was awful nice, but didn't she give that other guy she didn't like a car....very strange.

Renee...she has given each of the Survivors something..they have have been different but around $10,000 per gift. Pretty nice.
I think Roger had commented one time about not having had a family vacation in the longest time.

thanks AnnW, I thought maybe she was loosing it...LOL....I think she is awful generous.....Sounds like he and his family will use thier vacation well. Now if I could only get her to send me a car... LOL. :lol:

I only catch bits and pieces of her show... and that's only once in a while. I never noticed that she had anything wrong with her hand. What a strange way to injure yourself! Who'd think? Has anybody else heard that she had her last adopted dd taken away from her? I saw an artical about it somewhere but never had the time to sit down and read it I don't know the details but I was wondering if any of you heard anything? just wondering...

I hadn't heard that. Was the article for real or on the cover of a tabloid?

I saw something yesterday while I was in the grocery line in the Equirer about it...didn't get to read all of it. But they were talking about her foster daughter Mia who had to go into a psychiatrict hospital for evaluation, she wasn't sure how long she would be gone or if she would get to come back to their family

Yeah... it was the National Enquirer. LOL I know I shouldn't count on what they say as being TRUE, but "sometimes" their right on. I haven't read the article yet so don't really know what it was all about. The cover story Say's ROSIE LOSES DAUGHTER... I didn't know she was only a foster dd. ??

I don't usually believe them either, but the little bit I read said that she was interviewed by them. I think in her magazine she talked about bring Mia in and how many problems the little girl had.

I wondered what the details were on Mia too. I read in her magazine that Mia came from a very bad situation. When Rosie heard about her she really wanted to help her and took her in just after getting the new baby. The article didn't say that she was leaving, just what a difficult adjustment it was on the kids she already has.
