What the heck??? No new posts since yesterday afternoon? Was the board down?

"Meet the teacher" at the elementary school this am. DS wants to go cause dd now has one of his old teachers. Then he said he needs to go clothes shopping!! 8o Ran around like a mad woman getting all the laundry done yesterday cause usually this is a big day to hang out at the pool and get the kids worn out so they will go to bed tonite, but the weather is looking very iffy. Re-arranged our den yesterday...looks nice, but still jars me when I walk in! LOL

LOL... I just posted about that!!! I thought I'd be coming here this morning to tons of new posts... and nothing but my own! LOL

Another nice day today. Been keeping myself busy with the kids. I'll probably take them to the park again today, depending upon what kind of a mood the baby is in... he's been teething and has been just terrible!!! :grimace: Thank goodness the rest of the kids have been so perfect... otherwise I'm sure I'd be tearing my hair out :tearhair: about right now. LOL

I was thinking about changing the furniture around in my living room Ann... I love making little changes, makes me look at the room in a whole new way! LOL I'd like to get some new furniture for the livingroom... the stuff I have isn't really that old and is still in excellent condition... but when we bought it we didn't realize just how big it was, until they delivered it. 8o It definitely looked a lot smaller in their showroom. LOL It doesn't help that the fireplace practically takes up one whole wall... 8o the one and only big wall in the living room. As much as I love the fireplace... I sometimes wish it wasn't there. :)

Besides that... nothing too much on my agenda today. I've got a few errands to run tonight after work... I made the mistake of buying a Remanufactured Inkjet Cartridge (Double pack for only $42.50) from Office Max last night and neither one of them work. :rolleyes: LOL I guess I should have known better... :) Won't make that mistake again! LOL

Morning!! Dragging my rear today - got in from Chicago later than expected last night. My plane was late so I missed my connection, and had to wait 4 hours for the next one.

We had the best time in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There aren't 5 other women I could spend every waking moment with for 5 days straight and not want to kill. We didn't have one issue or argument (the booze helped that, I'm sure!) ;)
Our trip was nicknamed "GIRLS GONE WILD/CHICAGO STYLE". LOL

Anyway, at work now and have totally been shocked back into "Mommy Mode" (which sucks actually). I've got a church meeting tonight, a Girl Scout leader meeting tom. night then a troop planning meeting on Fri. night ----- arrrrghhhhh! I need another get away, wahhhh!!

I am missing my sisters (and nieces) like I'd miss my right arm, but we're planning on doing another trip like this again. :D :D

It's another rainy day here, supposed to do this all week. We need the rain, but after 3 days of it so far, I'm ready to see the sun again. Have dck's coming a going all day. One is staying the whole day and then 3 more off and on through out the day. It's a good group of kids so the day should go smooth.

This morning I have to go register my dks for school. Won't find out who their teachers are until right before school starts. Most likey the Friday before.

Ds has soccer practice tonight. I don't think he's going to go though. After playing a game in the pouring rain, I really don't want to stand around in the mud/rain for an hour just for practice.

Had a great time at the fair last night and saw lots of friends I don't get to see often enough. Nothing planned for today except swimming and laundry. :)

City's cutting off our water for 8 hours starting in 20 minutes. Going to work out at a friends house. Then breakfast at the coffee shop, then groceries, the library, and then the science museum. Hopfullly We'll have water when we come home. :)

Morning all,

Man the board is so quiet. Didnt do anythign for our anniversary last night. DH stayed home with DS#3 while I took the other two for a bike ride to My Moms and back. I did make Bar B Qued chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy with carrots and a cheese sauce.

Have 3 DCk's today all day and I think we are just going stay in, it is cloudy and gray and looks like rain. DH is wanting some Bananna bread so I will do that too.

good morning all. just dropped the kids off at school....they are loving it. Can you beleive it? I was talking with some other mommies, and actually met a lady I went to elementary school with....too weird...she moved in the 5th grade....its a small world huh....she was a year behind me, but I remember her sister, we were in the same class...she is going to give her sister my email.......

Dh is having an Ultra sound on his abdomin this morning, he has been having some sharp pains there...this poor man is starting to fall apart....:(

I have nothing else on my plate today....kids get home at 12:35 so probably hang out in the pool and just relax.

Still hot here 8)

dh just called....the tech said she didn't see anything on his ultra sound....just need the doctors confirmation, but that is a relief....he is taking the rest of the day off...so we have three hours of just US time until the kids get home....:newwink:

Hi all. We are staying by the fans today. We are actually under a humidex warning...it is gross outside!

Told the kids we would clean through the play room today and all of a sudden the house is very quiet! :lol:

Auction sale this evening to go to...hope it cools down a bit by then.

It's been a long day but fun day. We had 13 kids today. Yesterday I got a load of sand in (finally) for the back yard. They had to dump it in the drive way because they couldn't get their truck up to the fence. Dh, me, the kids and my helper finally got it all moved into the yard using buckets and rolling trash cans. The kids are having a blast with it!!

Today was our End of Summer Bash! We had a picnic at the park tonite. (We grilled hot dogs). All the daycare children and their families were invited. The families brought side dishes and their own drink. After that we went to the pool to swim. The kids had a good time swimming together. We just got home about a half hour ago. I have to be in at work at 6:15 in the morning. Think I'd better be thinking about heading to bed since I'm supposed to have 18 kids tomorrow!!! 8o (and they aren't even any of my own! )
