View Full Version : We went to Maine!

I secretly booked a day trip to Maine for Brichard and my's 9th anniversary. We went last Sunday and it was great!

Brichard had no clue what was going on. I told him that I took care of sending the kids away for Saturday evening. We went to dinner and then I played tired because we had to get to sleep so we could get up at 3am. I woke him, we showered and he followed my every direction. As we walked out the door with our backpacks on at 4am he said..."Where are we going?" I told him we were going to the park. LOL

After we got to the airport I gave him an anniversary card. I didn't tell him where we were going until we were eating breakfast in the airport. We flew to Bangor, Maine and then took a motorcoach to Bar Harbor. In the afternoon we toured Acadia National Park (the reason I said we were going to the park) and went to the summit of Cadillac Mountain. We went back to Bar Harbor for dinner, lobster of course. We headed back to the airport and we were home before midnight with 7 live lobsters in tow!

I shared lobsters with everyone who helped out with the kids while we were gone.

Fun trip!! I told Brichard he was in charge of our tenth~ :D

It sounds like a lot of fun! Can't wait to hear what he comes up with next year. :lol:

Acadia is one of our favorite places on earth!! Glad you had fun.

Isn't it great when you can pull stuff like that off without them knowing? Smart man of yours, too, to go along without asking questions!! :D

It was great! I was actually getting ready to post about it! lol

I haven't had much time to post... work keeps getting in the way! lol

It was a great trip and I was totally surprised!
