Just wondering what cities/towns you would choose to live in in an ideal world (in the US) and why? Thanks!
If all my family was coming with me, then Hawaii...have the beach and the mountains.
A house on the beach with a huge deck! Either Cape Cod or North Carolina/South Carolina Beaches.
I'd have my family there and since its a perfect world I could have my farm house there too right....I love the weather in California, and my family is there its just where I grew up...now if I could actually afford to live there, no cuz this is not a perfect world.

I would stay right here in Indiana. I love all 4 seasons!! I do wish I had an "outdoor" thermostat for those too hot, too cold days though.

I like living in Minnesota but wouldn't mind moving to an even BIGGER house on a nice big lake somewhere... a nice big deck overlooking a spectacular view below... Of course, I'd have to move most of my family, friends and neighbor's with me... LOL I could never move too far away from my loved ones...

If money's no object, I would like Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla or Del Mar (all near San Diego). I loved living there. I could do without cold weather and snow.

Too close to "the snooty cousin". Is there anyway I can go and not see them without being rude.
Not sure where I would want to live. As long as my family was all together I could live anywhere. I'd prefer someplace warm. A little snow once in a while ok. Just not snowbanks to my rooftop again.
Near a lake or beach. In the country, where it is quiet and you don't have to worry abut letting your children play in the yard unsupervised.

I actually really like MN even though this winter did seem never-ending! I don't know if I could pick just one dream place to live. If you asked me in the middle of the winter I'd beg for someplace warm...Hawaii would be nice! We are moving to the "country" so right now I am feeling pretty content!! :)
I would move to Whitinsville, Mass. and buy and live in the house that I grew up in. I can't wait till David and I make our $mill, and we can do that!
I could NEVER live in San Diego again! The weather is great but that's about it. Nice place to visit but not live- there are WAY too many people and there is way too much crime.
So far I like Alaska a lot, but that might change come winter depending on how much snow we get.
I think my dream place would be Germany. The people are friendly, it's peaceful and the weather wasn't too bad. If I only spoke the language and it wasn't so far away...
dh sat in our yard last night and watched the sun set over the pond, as the time passed we watched two deer drinking from the pond and a couple of mallards swim, the kids were in the sand box, and all was right in my world....I love it here.....Central New York, and my 25 acres.

It sounds SO peaceful Renee... I'm envious!!! I'm continually hearing traffic... and every once in a while when there is a lull in the traffic noise... I can actually hear the birds. LOL Sometimes I wish I could just pick up my house and move it to a more "quiet" place. LOL I'm glad you enjoy where you live... I don't blame you! LOL :)

its good to apprciate it now and then...LoL... I get so caught up in other things, it's a priority of mine now, to enjoy something about nature everyday.
