I was trying to put some new pictures up, and for some reason the page that I bookmarked won't let me in again.

Can someone send me the link to

just4jaz@hotmail.com

TIA

I haven't been able to get in for the longest time either..says my browser doesn't accept cookies.
Mickey is out of town, and AmyD is boycotting IB so I don't know who can help you right now.

Ann, thanks anyway. Strangely enough I was able to get into it this morning

I miss her. :bigcry:

Think if we start a chant she'll come back? :D I don't think she should have left. :\

I didn't understand why she left either!

I remember her being mad/angry about something... but I didn't think she was mad enough to totally leave the board. 8o Give her some time... eventually she'll miss us and come back. :)

Hopefully she'll come back soon. I think she seemed to be upset with the way the boards were running.

I don't want to put words in her mouth, but I think she was hurt by some over reactions to comments she made and then posters deleting posts to make her look even worse.

Must have been all the comotion that I missed when we had company! I thought she was just MIA because she was busy... I didn't know that she'd actually left and wasn't coming back! :( She'll be missed. Ann, do you know if she'll keep up with the photo site now that she's gone?

ITA I think (and hope) for the most part others realize what happened and don't hold it against her. I personally don't think she was in the wrong and don't think she left because she thought she was, but more like Ann said because of how she ended up being portrayed. jmo

Karla, I think that's correct. And how they wouldn't admit their part in the problem and just chose to either delete or ignore.
Jen, I don't know.

Ann - Exactly. There were no apologies - people just went on like nothing happened and no wrong was done... Personally, if it were me, I probably would have left, too.

I hope that she comes back!

Whaddaya mean she's gone??
I tried to figure out what had happened while I was looking the other way, but I lost track of the posts and couldn't make sense of it all. It seems that things were heated. Hmmm... maybe she'll miss us. I hope so.

I know I missed you when I couldn't get here. I've had lots of computer and internet issues. 8o It's been horrible to read a couple of posts, and then the computer freezes. I forget to go back and make comments.
It sounds like everyone is busy with school routines, and that kids are doing well. Mine are adjusting okay--although from the volume of their complaints, you'd think they were in boot camp. Dh won't let me put them up for adoption. Sigh. I'll keep working on him. LOL

I could be wrong... but I honestly think this whole thing was a total misunderstanding... and I also think that more than one person felt put out (and had hurt feelings) by what was said. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened, and I'm sure it won't be the last. 8o I hate to see anyone leave... but as one once said... if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen... and I'm not saying she couldn't take the heat (because anyone who knows Amy knows that that's just not something Amy would do...) but evidently she just chose to leave. I hope she changes her mind and decides to comes back... she always added a lot to the board.

Wow...I guess I really did miss alot while I was gone. I sould really go back and read some more this weekend. I can't believe Amy D left. I hope she decides to come back.

I don't think anyone really means to hurt anyones feelings. I know that Sometimes I'm so tired that I read some post wrong, But I've learned to wait until I'm more awake to post a response. Because I know there was times when what I said was taken completely different then I meant it. Usually bease of the way I typed it.

I hope I have never offended anybody. If I did I totally apologize!

Diane, I don't think it was necessarily a matter of taking heat or responsibility (cause she's a big girl and can do both), but more how some people just chose to ignore their part by deleting posts to make her (and others) look worse that upset her.

I guess I must have missed something too because I didn't see anything from either party that would have made me think less of them. 8o I thought the posts were deleted because they just wanted to put an end to all of it and move on. :) Maybe she'll still come back...

ITA, I think it started as someone posting with one intention, the post gets taken the wrong way, others jump in and make one poster feel ganged up on. It gets to the point of beating a dead horse so threads get deleted and an end is put to it. A simple misunderstanding snowballed into a major disagreement. (but that's jmo--what do I know??) ;)

Well, deleting entire threads, and editing posts that make others look like something they aren't and their posts seem inappropriate, is different than 'moving on'. I don't necessarily think less of anyone either, but it doesn't do much for one's image to just wipe out a thread when it isn't going the way you like.

Sorry to hear Amy left - I hope in time she will be back. I guess my days of lurking missed out on this scandle.

Another Question:

Idea Box has a photo album???? Something else I missed out on?

AnnW

Ryleigh...there was no scandal...just a misunderstanding. IB doesn't have a photo site, but Amy set one up for those people who wanted to share pictures of themselves and their kids.
