Anybody else getting the "Fatal error" message?

Is anybody else getting this "Fatal error" messages that I keep getting? (below) I don't know if it's my computer or if the board is just so slow... but lately I've been having one heck of a hard time getting IN here. While I couldn't get in here the entire night last night... when I finally DID get in here this morning (and even at that it took a LONG time to get in) I noticed that there were TONS of new posts posted... so I'm assuming it was just me. :o(((( Anybody else been experiencing any problems??? If not, what's wrong with my computer??? LOL Thanks!

I'm in the same boat Diane......very frustrating. I too thought it was my computer. I had given up earlier and just left IB all together.

Thank you for the quick reply darlene... I'm glad to hear it isn't just me. It is VERY frustrating!!! Almost felt like picking up my computer and tossing it out the window!!! LOL I'm curious to see if anybody else has been experiencing these same problems. THANKS again... :)

Me, too!! Last night in the middle of catching up I all of a sudden couldn't even access the boards. Today I haven't had that problem, but it has been really slow and I do get the fatal error msg. I also thought it was just my computer. Glad we could figure this out together! :)

The board has been up and down over the last two days. Apparently the hosting company has been having some power problems and have been reseting the server several times. I have to manually startup the forums after the server reboots, so there will usually be a delay for that.

The fatal errors we've been getting are due to the old server! I need to upgrade it. You guys are just using the board too much!

Just kidding. I DO need to upgrade the server to handle all the traffic. That's another reason I haven't enabled all the other features of the board. (ie. email, avatars, etc...)

Anyways, that's the scoop.

Thanks David for the quick reponse... It's nice knowing that it's not ME or MY computer!!! LOL I'll try not to post here so much, but I'm addicted and I don't think it can help myself!!!

Yeah... I'd have to agree that a slow board is better than no board at all. I just needed to know that it wasn't my puter... and I'm so glad it wasn't. :)

Same error here too. Combine the slow board with the slowness at school when everything goes through our screen and I've had a real hard time keeping up with all the posts. I know I've missed some.

I was going through severe withdrawl so my dh took me to Dairy Queen for ice cream!

Speaking of server issues....my poor dh. The company they resold DSL through went belly up and all his DSL customers were turned off. No notice. This is not going to be a fun day for him today. :bigcry:

I was getting worried I would start withdrawls....LOL. :lol: seems slow for me today, but at least I am here....anyway i got my floor washed and waxed and even washed the dog already....guess it was a blessing for me... :lol: Glad to see I wasn't alone in being errored......fatally at that.

same message coming through for me. I agree, very frustrating.:banghead:
I also recieved a message saying
" the site you are attempting to enter in no longer in service, due to broken transmitter" no word if it was a permanant thing or just temporary. See me having a panic attack. "don't take my sanity break away"

One night last week I tried for 20 min before I got on. Finally made it on, read one post and it booted me back out the door again. I was not impressed.

Glad I got through tonight anyway! Hope the don't boot me out the door for whinning to much.

I got that one too... :( I was NOT in a good mood at this point. LOL I finally decided to go elsewhere for a while... an hour later I came back and was relieved to see that it was back working again. :)
