Dh went up to bed a little bit ago and then came back down here telling me he needed me to get off the internet so he could make a call. I was a little baffled since it is after 11:30 and he's not that rude. He said some guy was in our driveway checking out our vehicles and trying to open the doors!! 8o Dh asked him (thru the window) what he was doing and the guy was stumbling for an answer and said, "Uh, um I uh thought I recognized the house." Hello. What does THAT mean? Why would he be looking in the vehicles and then taking off? I hate the feeling of "invasion" and now am feeling unsafe. I am such a chicken about stuff. :nervous: Dh called the police so at least now they are patrolling the area. This guy is another reason for me to keep my doors locked all day. I am such a paranoia case, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Yikes is right! How unnerving! Don't blame you for keeping your doors locked! Hope they find the guy!
That's not chicken, honey, that's SMART!!! That would totally creep me out! Were you able to sleep at all? Did they find the guy?? UGH!

That would freak me out. Since Im alone, i would have let my 90lb dog ask him what he was doing here. LOL

LOL I would like to have seen the look on his face if a 90 pound dog came trotting out to greet him.
I am glad your dh was looking out KarlaB!
I hate that feeling of feeling scared in your own home...I too keep the doors locked...glad your dh was looking out that window....

They never found him and I didn't go to bed until after 1. Ugh! He came walking across the street from the neighbor's - who had 3 vehicles in their driveway - so obviously he was up to something. Yes, thank goodness dh was home. He said he was just going to shut the window when he saw the guy. At least the police patrolled the area so I think that should discourage him. What's strange is that there is a street light on our property, so wasn't he just a teensy bit risky?
