View Full Version : Outlook Express password
I use Outlook Express for email and for some reason all of a sudden it's asking me for a password to send out an email. It only happens to the first email I try to send after logging on to the internet. If I'm online for a while and want to send another it doesn't ask.
Can someone please tell me how to turn off the password requirement?
Tools, accounts, mail, properties, servers, remember password.
That "remember password" box was checked but under settings on that screen there was another remember password box that wasn't checked. That did the trick! Thanks, Ann. :)

Glad Ann could help. That has happened to me before, too, Pam - goes in spurts and my 'remember password' box has always been checked. ?( :rolleyes: If I leave it alone for a while it tends to fix itself - seems like a fluke thing for me or an issue with my ISP?
Glad it worked. It happens sometimes when my ISP is having trouble.
My ISP has been a pain in the butt lately! Thanks for the quick fix... I kept forgetting to ask. :)
