I was so sad to see Elizabeth go.....I really adore her, she is so honest and likable, the men like her and the woman find her charming...I saw her on the Today show with Bryant Gumble and she is just precious.....Loved Colby winning that car and seeing his mommy...that was so touching....I don't know if I can take all the pressure of watching the final episode...it really makes my heart pound....I want Tina or Colby to win...Hope Rosie gives Elizabeth something great....She is engaged to a Buffalo Bill football guy....very cute.... hope you all enjoyed last nights episode..
PS did anyone tape or watch Friends, I totally spaced out and didn't set the VCR....bummer

I missed everything... :( We ended up with unexpected company last night and I totally forgot about it until after they left. Ugh!!!!!! My dd always records "Friends" though so I know I can get the tape from her but... I totally missed Survivor. :( My mom and dad watch it so they could at least update me. LOL :)

I was rootin' for Elizabeth to win immunity so bad cause I knew that was her only chance!!!
She was adorable on the CBS morning program!!!
off the subject, anyone see Rod Stewart on Today..his voice isn't sounding just a little rusty!!!
about Rod Stewart....he is recovering from Throat Cancer still, I did catch him on Today, sounds like he is on his way back....

wow! I didn't realize! I am glad to hear it, I just don't think I could bear to see his voice go!!!!!
I still love him too.....I was so sad to hear about his cancer, and he didn't tell anyone till he had, had all the treatments.....very scary huh.....
Okay, call me a cynic (sp?) but I'm kind of getting over all the squishy emotionaly stuff. I mean, come on! It's only been a month! When I was in grad school, I was in Denver, and my dh (then beau) and I were separated and only saw each other every five, six weeks or so. It was kind of hard, but Navy wives and husbands do it all the time for months and month! Just seems a little melodramatic to me.
BUT with that said, I hope my DS feels about me the way Colby feels about his Mom when he's an adult! I'm tired of Colby winning all the challenges. Of course he is winning, he's the only one eating!
Of the three, my vote is for Tina. I think if she's one of the final two she'll definately win, because she's best liked. Colby and Keith both have enemies.

ITA about Navy wives and dating couples, etc but I think it is different for these Survivor people because of the circumstances they are in and essentially being cut off from the world and all of their usual support people.

I also saw Elisabeth on the Today Show - isn't she just adorable?? :) I was so sad to see her go last night. I kind of thought maybe it would be Keith, but I think Tina and Colby knew in the long run Elisabeth was more of a threat because she is so liked. If I miss seeing her on Rosie someone has to let me know what she gets!! :)
I didn't know about Rod Stewart either! WOW! Glad to hear things are looking up for him. I hate that dreaded "C" word. :(

I've got a question about Survivor. Why, in the beginning, were they able to catch fish and kill pigs, but now they're not? Have the animals moved away from the campsite, or are they not allowed to hunt and fish anymore? I think it's really irresponsible of the show's producers to allow them to get to the state of malnutrition. I for one would rather see some actual competition at this point. Of course Colby's going to win everything, he's the only one who's had any food!

When the rains came it diluted all the fishing areas, plus I think they had to move farther inland..yep, Colby is the only one with any nourishment

I felt sorry for Elizabeth that she got voted off last night....I was hoping it would be Keith, but I figured they would probably keep the original tribe together...they have done so well considering how many challenges they lost in the beginning.
I think it will be between Tina and Colby to win it all....Physically Colby should win because he has won a ton of immunity challenges (and yes, has therefore eaten...but he deserved the food because he won the challenges). Tina should win for her mental and emotional strength....she is a real go getter.
I think it has really gone fast this season, don't you guys?
I too hope that my two sons feel about me the way that Colby feels for his mom....that was very touching. I was also glad that he won the car last night...did you hear him say that he has never had a new car before?
they also have lost all thier fishing hooks and rods when the rains wash out thier camp....as for the pig I think that was just one contestant that was willing and able to catch a pig...LOL.. :lol as for them being irrisponsible, your right, I think that more rice and staples should have been left for them, of the surviors left, yes Colby has more physical strength cuz he has been eating, but Tina is sharp. I like them both, and get an uneasy feeling about Kieth....I know that's not fair but thats how I feel
So who do you think is going to go next...I am betting on Tina or Colby

I was thinking it would be Keith, but I guess Colby may vote for Tina because he may see Keith as less of a threat to him and would think even if people are annoyed with all of the challenges he won that they'd rather see him (Colby) win than Keith??? If they could somehow get Colby off, then I see Tina winning it.
Yep, that's kind of how I see it too, Karla.
I remember in one of the last two episodes, that Tina said she had an alliance with Kieth, which I remember her making in the beginning....then Colby said he has an alliance with Tina.....what's up there? Tina and Colby are the two that would win, but who will go this week....could be anyones game, depending on the immunity idol....its all played out in one two hour episode right?
if Tina made alliances with both men, will she make it to the final 2? and then get voted off? oh I am so confussed...I can't wait till thrusday, and yes I set my VCR for friends already....
Elizabeth will be on Regis and Kelly tommorrow at 9:00 am...I can't wait...I really like her...

It's really up to who wins the idol. If it's Colby again, he wins it all because he will vote off Tina and win in the end over Keith. If Tina wins the idol, again I think she wins it all no matter who she votes off. I think her best bet would be to vote off Colby though because more of the jury have issues with Keith. If Keith wins the idol, he'll vote off Colby and I think Tina wins. If he votes off Tina, I think Colby wins. I don't think Keith stands a chance in the end.
Did any of that make sense? Can't wait till Thurs.

Yes, it will be on for 3 hours total. Two hour show and then the thrid hour will be a live reunion- just like the first one.

That's how I see it, too!! I can't wait until Thursday!!! :) What will we do when this is over?? LOL!

Go through major Survivor withdrawl.
I heard there is ANOTHER reality based show coming on it June or July, where they take a group of peaple out into the middle of the jungle with only what is in their backpacks to survive and they have to find their way out and back to civilization. Likely dumb, but knowing me I'm sure to get hooked anyway. Why do I do this to myself.
