Good Morning!

Cold and clear here, waiting for my sister on yahoo messenger so we can chat. The 8 hour time difference is such a pain, we frequently get the time messed up.

Dd2 has nutcracker rehearsal today, then both dds have riding lessons. Our horse will be back in the full lesson for the first time since she injured her leg back in August tonight, so dd1 is very excited about that - it's been a long, slow recovery!

Not much on for me today. My icemaker in the fridge started leaking Friday, so the repair guy is coming today.

Cold season is here. Four out of the six of us have a cold. Chances are the other two will start it all over again when they get it after the rest of us are well. :banghead: I am so not ready for this crap again.

Okay, enough griping! :rolleyes: Nothing out of the ordinary planned for the day.

getting ready for work, got up a little early, not sleeping well, so I thought I would check in.

Work, then DS has Karate tonight...quick run to the supermarket, a non Picketing one :lol: (most of our supermarkets are on Strike here) then dinner....

DH and I have started house hunting...I am exhuasted, stressed out and excited all at the same time....

Good sunny Monday morning! Cold out but nice to see the sun all the same. Work today. Ds has his tutor coming tonight. He's at school today, but he was sick again yesterday. He's got a flu bug, dh has a cold bug. I don't want to catch either so am spraying Lysol all over the house and constantly washing my hands, lol.

Typical Monday here,

Laundry and cleaning. Have to run and get groceries too.

DH is off today so we are going to go shopping with MIL she wants some help picking out clothes for DS#2's birthday.

Couldnt sleep last night, I think I may have strep throat but my DR.s office is closed till next week, so I may have to make a trip to the walk in clinic..

Just finally able to post. It's been a busy few days. I have a dc parent in the hospital. (I may have posted that already) So I had the child 19 months old all weekend, off and on. Had my Partylite Party yesterday. I have a $500 party already and a few people left to order. DIdn't realize how popular the candles were and how much people would spend! The party was fun. Then the kids and I went and saw Brother Bear with one of the girls who came to the party. It was a cute movie! There are several movies coming out that look good!

Grocery shopping tonight, laundry and Average Joe on TV.

I got some horrible news today. The counselor called us all together during our block time to tell us of one of my student's house burning down early this morning. Her older sister was killed in the fire. She was a former student of mine as well. She had severe emotional problems and was no longer in public school but had to be tutored at home. She was very violent. It is rumored that she started the fire, and sadly I can believe that. She was only 10 years old. We had tried only a month ago to get this family some help dealing with this child, but they flatly refused help that required any outside agency into their home. I'm just numb over this. I've cried over it, off and on all day. Have not been able to get ahold of the parents today. My class has counseling tomorrow and we'll be talking with the kids. I'm supposed to have an observation tomorrow and I just told my principal not to expect what's in my plan book cause I don't know what tomorrow will hold. She said she'd reschedule, but I said she might as well see "real".
