I did have a great day!! The day before personalities from a popular radio station in the state came to read to the kids. The next day my birthday was called into that radio station (they announce birthdays every week day morning). When they announced it they made a reference to spending time at my preschool the previous day and said I had a real neat program.

During preschool that morning, I got balloons delivered to me from my very first daycare child.

At lunch dh brought in a cake that was decorated to look like my sign that he'd had a co-worker make for me. Can't remember the last time I had a cake for my birthday. After I got the mats out and helped get the kids settled down for nap, dh told me that I had the afternoon off. (he'd worked it out with my employees to cover for me). He had the afternoon off too. We came home and I watched a little bit of my SOAPS, which I haven't seen for months. Then he made a big deal about getting into town early to pick up kids so he could get some stuff at ALCO. When we got to town he pulled up to the hair shop where I usually get my hair done and said I was 5 minutes late for my hair appt.!! I got my hair cut and highlighted--it really needed it too!!

That night we had 1st aid class so afterwards one of my employees took me out for pizza.

All around it was a great day!! I think dh was trying to make up for all those years when he was deer hunting on my birthday. LOL
