and I couldn't believe it. I was fast asleep, and dh woke me up this morning. Why is it when I get up early during the week he can sleep (because I am so quiet  ) , but the one day he wakes up early, the whole house has to wake up :tearhair:
Crossed the border yesterday with a friend andwent shopping for part of the day. It was great to put all my troubles behind me for a couple of hours.
It is so mild here it's amazing! I love this weather!!!! I do feel bad for the kids because the frame of the skating rink is up, we are just waiting for the cold to freeze it.
Nothing special planned for today...just the usual.
Happy Saturday everyone :happydnc:

Morning All!
Not much planned today...just going to visit with dad...and maybe go out with a friend to eat. Weekend visits go to fast...LOL. especially without a car... I can't even do errands.
Well hope you all have a great day!
DH and DS left this am for a boy scout over night. It actually started yesterday, but I wanted one more full day of ds feeling better before I let him go. This is one of his favorite trips because they do black powder guns.
DD is going on a girl scout outing all day today too, she will be back around 8 pm.
I am going to have the house all to myself!

Ann, I'm glad to hear that your ds was feeling better and able to go on his trip.
Now....let's see....both kids and your dh gone ....all day .....what are you going to do with your time....alone?!?!?!?!? http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/think1.gif
Hope you have a fantastic day
Well, I may not end up alone......I went to wake
DD up a few minutes ago and noticed DS's shoes (his only pair that i am aware of) are in the bathroom. I called DH and said "what is the boy wearing on his feet, his shoes are here" DH says well, I will ask him when he wakes up...uh..don't you want to wake him up now so you can turn around if you need to? "no, we are almost half way there." If that SOB calls me in an hour and asks me to drive 3 hours to bring him the shoes i think I will have a fit!!!!!!!!!!

OMG 8o What could he possibly have on his feet :\
Good morning! I was in bed until almost 7:30 this morning!!! :* Ds2 was awake but happy in his crib, ds1 didn't have to get on the bus and the girls didn't have to start schoolwork. It's a nice start to a Saturday.
Dh and I got takeout last night and then ate in front of the fire (and tv, lol). By the time we were done with dinner I was so sleepy I couldn't see straight. So bedtime for me was 9:00 last night. That was nice/rare too.
This afternoon dh and I are going to the city to do some Christmas shopping and should finish it up (YEA!). Then we're going to the gaslight theater at 9:30. Mil and fil are keeping the kids till dinner time and my mom and her dh are keeping them over night.
Besides one load of laundry and general maintenance I plan on doing nothing but reading this morning. Okay, now that I've rambled on and on with my life details that are totally meaningless to ya'll... I'll say "have a great day, all!" :D
Ann... run. Run very fast to the nearest mall, coffee shop, friend's house, whatever! It would make more sense for your dh to buy your ds new shoes (unless they're in the middle of nowhere) than for you to drive that long! 8o
Marla, I'm sorry you didn't get to sleep in. :\

I know exactly what he did..he put on his clothes, walked straight out to the car and went back to sleep. What amazes me more is that BOTH of them had to practically trip over them to go to the bathroom this am and neither one noticed!!!!

You think he is barefoot??????
I agree with Pam...get out of there as fast as you can, and let your dh deal with it ;)

LOL... that's what I was thinking too. 8o My dd did that once when we'd get up early on a Saturday morning to go camping. She's literally walk from her bed to the van... lay down and go back to sleep. Got there and... no shoes. We too ended up going to the store to buy her a new pair. A lot closer/easier than driving all the way home for them. LOL Good luck Ann... I hope he's got SOMEthing on his feet. LOL
Morning all....early here, only 50 degrees out...took :doggie: Max for an early walk, felt great...feeling it in my legs though now...having coffee now as my family starts to straggle out of thier beds....
we are heading off to a friends later this afternoon the out to dinner with them...can't wait...
might take both kids for new shoes and Haircuts this morning...
Went to Kohls, big sale preview last night....WOW, we got dd a denim skirt, for $3.97...come on...that was a deal, regularly 18.00...two pairs of jeans and two shirts, all came to $51.24 total....YEAH! I am not buy anything else until after Santa comes :tree:
Ann, I agree...enjoy your day alone....

It's a gorgeous day here today!
The kids, DH, and my parents went to the Thanksgiving Parade in Plymouth. I'm bummed I can't go. They have a dozen drum and bugle corps in the parade and ds just has so much fun there I love to watch him, watch the parade.
But, my girlfriend and I are going to a baby shower in Woonsocket RI the daughter of an old neighbor. I'm driving and when I RSVP'd I didn't realize it was the same day as the parade.
Owell, DH can have some good kid time he doesn't get much of that without me around.
Have a great day everyone.
Ann I hope your son gets shoes!!!! At the very least I hope it's warm there so his toes don't freeze!!
Good afternoon all! Did the groceries this a.m. and vacuumed the living/dining room. Need to do something with my hair today...I have an a appointment for some touch ups on my roots on Wedesday. Took ds and a friend out to dinner last night...the start of his weekend long b-day plans, lol. Went to Hooters in another neighbouring city. Tonight ds is going to a dance with the same friend (who spent the night btw). Tomorrow we are having the inlaws for dinner and an aunt/uncle/cousin for dessert. Have to pick the cake up this afternoon.

Morning all,
Snowing here a little bit this morning.
DS#2 is having his birthday party today at the muesum, it is a week late but he wanted to invite a friend that was going to be away on his birthday so we waited till his friend got back.
Other than that no big plans. Coming home and organizing and relaxing. Working onmy albums too.
Ann-Hope DS's feet dont get to cold, and that they can get him some shoes where they are going.

Dh and I just got back from our night away - was so fun to just have that time together. We're going to go Christmas shopping this afternoon and then head to get the kids later.
Bev....who went to Hooters? Is it the same as down here? A bar with big boobed women (hooters) in short tight shirts and shorts??
Ya'll don't need to worry about his feet getting cold, it's 80 here.
I just got back from getting a GREAT pedicure, sat in a massage chair, feet rubbed for 20 minutes! Then went to this little deli in the neighborhood and they were having a wine tasting, so I tasted! and bought, then got some fun little picnic foods that I like but kids would complain about so tonite, I will have a little smorgasbord and wine!

Yup, we took ds and his friend to Hooters. They dress the same here, but I didn't see any really big busted women and they still had more clothes on than you'd see at the beach ;) Dh did ask me if I felt uncomfortable since there was only me and one other lady in the restaurant, lol. I hadn't even thought to be uncomfortable and I said as much to dh, even said that there really were more women in the place than us two.
Ann, your day sounds so relaxing...enjoy your evening and your food and wine!
Sounds like the same place, but it must be a "looser" dress code down here. Yep, they have more clothes on than a bathing suit, but they look a little nastier! LOL It's more bar food here too than a restaurant.
It was a nice day.
