We have decided to get a California King Size Bed...since we have been sleeping on a double for 15 years...CAN'T WAIT!

What are you all getting you spouse?

Do you do joint gifts?

That's exciting, Renee! I can relate a bit, we went from a double to a queen and I thought I'd lost dh at night, we were so used to being cramped together! It was such a difference even only going up one size, can't imagine going from a double to a CA King!

This year I'm sending dh up for an hour ultralight flight where he'll be able to take the controls for part of it. I may be more excited than dh will be, but I'm hoping he'll love it. :)

I might sound terrible but... I just give him $$. He's got so many different tools he wants and I have no clue which one, or brand name to get him. I wouldn't even begin to try to choose... he takes SO long the way it when he's picking it out himself. He'll stand there and stare at it... then reads everything about it... and looks at all over again. He might go back to the store two/three times before he finally decides which one he wants. LOL It's such of a big ordeal... I know that any one I'd pick out for him would be the wrong one, so I'll give him the pleasure to do it all by himself. LOL

I just picked up a few clothes for my dh...he's terrible about buying clothes for himself. I'll give him money like Diane, and he can piddle it away as he likes.

Well, he's got some pretty pricy stuff on his list this year.......
like, a new watchband, undershirts.........

I'll probably get him a subscription to Backpacker magazine and if he can't get our speakers to work this week, I'll get a new set (cross your fingers these are history, they were the ones he had in college, so they are HUGE!)
I'll think of something at the last minute.

I'm getting my dh a tripod to use with the digital camera and camcorder. I get him a few small surprises, also...since Santa leaves little gifts for each of us.

We usually do a joint gift. I'm thinking this year it will be a dvd/vcr combo for our room?

I got him a Lord of the Rings calendar. Have bought him a calendar every Christmas for like forever! He isn't big on gifts, so we usally just get something small for each other and spend more on the kids.

He's already received 2 of his gifts... the big screen tv was for the family and I bought him a gun that he wanted and I gave it to him the day I bought it.

Under the tree he has a few t-shirts, a calendar and a set of wrenches he wanted. For this year, I think that's more than plenty!
