help please

I'm a student working in a nursery at the moment. I'm in the baby room and need lots of activity ideas and ideas for creative activities. Like making decorations and painting.
the babies i am with are all around 9 months.

I've heard that you can let babies finger paint with corn syrup and food coloring. It just takes several days to dry, but once it's not sticky any more it will have a high shine.

You can also do hand and footprint angels or reindeer (body of the angel is one footprint, wings/antlers are the handprints. Use a peanut shaped piece for the head of the reindeer). Or what about making an ornament out of their handprint and a small photo of them. Seems like you'd be doing most of the work though! :)
