I'm so lost. LOL
Taking mom fabric shopping then a haircut for me and we start pounding the pavement with GS cookies today - woo hoo!! lol
Yes it's Wednesday. Work today. Ds has his tutor coming around 5. I sent a note to his teacher this a.m. DS wrote one or 2 math tests in December and another one since returning after the break and he hasn't gotten any of them back. I told the teacher it would be beneficial for *R* and his tutor to be able to go over these tests and see the marks so that his progress can be monitored. I'm so not liking ds's teacher this year! I met with him early in December and he said he'd send a lesson plan home for the tutor to use as a guide and it took til last week to get it (after me sending him a note asking for it! Frustrating to say the least.
Going after work to register for my fitness class that starts next week. Looking forward to exercising on a regular basis again...the once a week if I'm lucky, on my eliptical just isn't cutting it, lol.
Sista, if you're in my neck of the woods today (yeah, right!, I'll buy some cookies :D
Cookie sales started here on Saturday, dd has sold 102 boxes!!! to 45 different families, which is pretty amazing in that it makes her average sale about 2 boxes per household..she is hustling!!! I do feel sorry for her though, she works so hard doing it all herself and then other girls' parents will take the order forms to their offices and just sale tons!
I thought I was going to have a ton of laundry to do today, but neither kid brought me their laundry baskets so that means no laundry for me and their rooms don't get cleaned this week either so a light day for Rosa tomorrow! Now that I have all this free time, I just may go shopping for my cruise!

Not sure! LOL
We started thinking about going on a cruise at Christmas to get out of town for the "first". It turned out to be really expensive but we started getting really excited about the idea. We have never been on one. This March is our 20th wedding anniversary so we decided to take the kids and go on one at Spring Break. We are going to Key West (the boys are going to go light tackle fishing, dd and I will explore), Grand Caymen (we are all going to swim with the sting rays and go snorkeling through coral reefs), and Cozumel where I have chartered a fishing boat for the boys to go Marlin fishing and dd and I will swim with the dolphins for an hour!!!!
Shortly after we started booking this cruise. A friend calls up and says "I am turning 50 on January 30 and not handling it well, so we are all going on a cruise to the Bahamas"! So we leave for a little 3 day one out Miami on January 29 and get back on Feb 2.
Never been on a cruise in my life and now I am going on 2 within 6 weeks of each other!!! LOL Sure hope we like the January one cause we are committed to the March one! ;)
only two more days until dh gets home, this single parenting is for the birds....kudos to you who do it....I am just barely making it through....gotta get kids off to school then hit the office....Been extremely busy at work and I love it....I can' t believe how much I like my job....:)
Cruise? when, where, what did I miss....
Have a great HUMP day all!
Good morning! Woke up this morning with a headache, heartburn and sore ankle. I *swear* I wasn't out partying in the middle of the night!
Got up early and got 95% of my housecrud, er... housework done so now I'm just trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my day. Threw some chili in the crockpot for dinner, so that's a done deal.
It doesn't seem like Wednesday to me, either, but I'm not sure what day it does feel like! Kids have gymnastics and that's about it.
I'm really craving Girl Scout cookies right now for some odd reason! ;)

Got oldest ds off to school and then went back to bed with youngest ds. I woke up again around 9:15 and laid there until 10. He got up at 10:30. :D Felt good, but now I need to get going cleaning.
Dh's team lost their first game of the season last night. :\ It was such a stresdsful game. Hadn't planned on staying until the end, but couldn't leave when it was so close. They were ranked #1 in the state for their class, so we'll see what this loss does to them.

It's been an incredibly long week already. Dh is in Dallas until Friday night. I agree with Renee.....single parenting is harder than I remember. (Maybe it's because I only had 3 then. LOL) I think part of the reason that dh calls is to make sure that I haven't lowered the kid count in a moment of perfect sanity!!
It was 17 BELOW 0 this morning so my district closed. The last 2 snow days, I've gone in, but this morning I decided to stay home. This district had a 2 hour delay, so the kids all got to sleep in a little, and now I get peace and quiet. It's a win/win!! What possessed me to decide to strip the floor?? Oh well, it'll be good to accomplish something. I'm looking forward to paying the bills next. Maybe this is why I usually go in to work.......
Hope you have a good day.
It's cold her again. Another week of below zero temps! UGH!!! :\
Going through more stuff today. Found a big box of the kids school work from when we lived in NC. It was fun to go through, but we purged some of it. Have an even bigger box of stuff I've saved since we've been here. That's my morning chore. I tivoed Real World and I'm going to see what crazy things those kids did last night on the show. Have a few loads of laundry to do and a kitchen to clean. Nothing too exciting.
The Bachelorette starts tonight! :D Also a new eposide of CSI is on at the same time as The Apprentice, so it's a busy TV night.

Had to drive DS#2 to school this morning the buses arent running again, this time it is due too road conditions they are very very icy we have had rain for the past two days.
Have DCK's too today so it is busy here.

Not much happening here today. The kids were home for the second snow day in a row. White out conditions/ -40 temp.,
ds occupied himself with a hotwheels race track that he purchased himself with part of his Christmas money from Nana.
dd dicided it was a good day to bake cookies, so set to it with minimal help from me - wanted to prove she could do it herself. I baked them though- she is a little hesitant of the oven and thats fine with me. She gave the little ones a little piece of cookie dough each to create their own cookies, so they had fun too.
We ended- up spending the afternoon curled up together on the sofa watching an old Shirley Temple movie~Bright Eyes. dd has a whole collection of them that she pulls out every once in a while.
dh came home early and said the roads are terrible. doesn't sound like a school day tomorrow either.
