For a short week, it sure has dragged out. lol

Taking mom fabric shopping today and I'll check out some for the kitchen, too. Dd went to school w/a stomach ache - not sick feeling, sore muscles we think. Hopefully, she'll make it though the day.

When I get home I've GOT to do laundry, I've been saying that all week but can't stay home long enough to get any done. lol

Good morning...nice to be back here again, after having yesterday off work and our home computer out for a general clean-up.

Work today and ds has swimming tonight, that's about it.

Ann, what's an enviro-steamer? Is that like the steam-buggy things I've seen advertised on the home shopping channel?

It's like a vacuum, but a deep floor cleaner. Sort of like that but more vacuum looking.

going in to the office late today, been so busy. Kids are good, DS is going to help us sand the china hutch this weekend and get rid of the DNA he scratched into it.....


DD is good, busy with her singing on the kareoke machine she got from SANTA....way cute...

Hi there everyone,

Finally feeling a little bit more like myself today. I have had a horrible tooth ache since SUnday night. Finally went to the Emergancy dentist yesterday morning. ( being at the dentist totally freaks me out, I am such a chicken) Ihad a root cannal that did not take. The dentist said that 96% of root cannals work. SO he had to remove the fillings and drain the infection. Now I have to go to my dentist to get the tooth refilled tomorrow morning. It is stuffed with cotton right now and is still a little sore, but it mostly just feels wierd with the cotton in it.

Have to take the dog back to the vet tomorrow too, her lump is growing back and she cant control herself...:(

I have DCK's today and am trying to catch up on the housework I have not done this week.

Jen- I would like to shop for fabric too, I want to try and make some towels and placemats, but not really sure how to do it..LOL

It was (is!) so cold today! There was a -38F windchill temperatures this morning and similar temps all day. Kind of hoped some schools would close for the day...but nope! Brrrrrrrr...!

There is an open house at my school this weekend, and report cards go home on Monday. I've been trying to get my classrooms cleaned up...and get the report cards finished. Busy. Factor in the that I'm worried about my mom...and this has been one heck of a week!

Evening all. Dd's tests went well this morning...only took an hour. She was a real trooper to go through drinking that "stuff". They say we won't get results till Monday and probably not until Tuesday. :rolleyes: She is having some wicked side effects since lunch....severe abdominal pain. I called the tech and he said quite normal....gas build up...push liquids and bathroom breaks. Hopefully by bedtime she'll feel better.

Dh's 40th birthday today! He and ds have gone to hockey...told ds to get the team to sing him happy birthday in the locker room.

Have a meeting tonight...dance again! Hopefully we can get this all sorted out and the girls back on track.

Mary, I can relate to that cold! It was -44C with the wind here yesterday! Has warmed up some and is snowing again now.
