Starting a morning thread a little early. I got my truck back at about 4:30 Monday evening. Drove it home and it felt a little weird, it pulled to the left. After getting home dh drove it and said the same thing. UGH! I have to call first thing this morning and see if the place that fixed it can do a wheel alinement. If not then I guess I get to call the insurance company and see where to take it. So far it has cost the insurance company $8152 to fix my truck! 8o I have an eye dr appt this morning too. I'm trying to get all our medical needs taken care of before we move. Three weeks from today the packers come! :yippee: It's getting closer and the time is going by really fast now.

DD came in during the night saying she threw up, so I will see what's up with that when I go to wake her up. My aunt is coming over today to go over everything cause she is watching the kids for us while we are gone. Laundry.

HOORAY!!! It's a snow day!! The kids are out of school and I can't wait for them to get up and play in the snow. I just love the white flaky stuff. That is when I don't have to get out and drive in it! LOL

I have really been down in the dumps lately. I really needed today!

Nothing much today. We got the waterbed drained last night but not moved out of the bedroom. That means a few more days sleeping on the couch since dh is staying in the city tonight. I think new couches need to be next on our purchase list, lol!

Schools are closed today, except the university, so here I am at work, lol. Left ds sleeping when I came to work this a.m. His grade was to go to the ski hill today for some skiing but that has been cancelled/postponed. Going to dinner at Dad's then my volunteer shift tonight. The weather is supposed to stay bad and apparently worse tomorrow than today.

Angie, the one this weekend leaves out of Miami. We go to Coco Cay (Royal Carribean's private island) and Nassau.
The one in March leaves out of Galveston (45 minutes from here) and is going to Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

PamE - I'll send you some of our snow if we can switch temps today too. it's -33, -47 with the windchill.

Cancelled my early morning class today, and am thinking I'll probably cancel my 10 a.m. as well, it's preschoolers and a couple of the mom's have babies, it's just to cold for them to be out.

Jen - hope you get thinks straightened out with your truck soon, will you be selling it before you leave or are you driving to california?

AnnW - hope your dd is feeling better this morning, when do you leave on your 1st cruise?

BevJ - my youngest dd is upset because their ski trip for today was cancelled too! Now they have to go to school. Buses get cancelled here, but they never close the schools.

We pretty much knew last night that the buses would most likely be cancelled and the trip postponed, but thought the schools might be open. DS was told yesterday that if just the buses were cancelled, they might as well stay home too since they wouldn't be prepared to have them in class since they should have been out skiing, lol. He just called to tell me he's been invited to a friend's for the day.

she's pretty whiney and her throat is red, no white spots..hoping it's maybe drainage.
We leave Thursday!!!! spending the night in Miami, board Friday, come home Monday. One of our dearests friends is turning 50 and as he said "I am not handling it well, so we are leaving town!"

Uggggghhhhhhh. Dragging myself off the couch. My stomach errupted this morning about 5 am and I'm feeling lousy. Dd spent the night with one of the families we went sledding with yesterday (which was SO fun!) and isn't home yet. We were to all meet here after lunch to go sledding again behind the school, but we're getting freezing rain already, so we may just be hanging out in the house.

Fern - enjoy your time off today without classes.
Ann - hope dd feels better, didn't ds throw up over the weekend? could be the same bug?
Jen - bummer 'bout the truck - if it isn't one thing, it's another, isn't it? But how exciting the move is almost here!

We are supposed to be shipping it out, but I couldn't make the appt to do it because I didn't know when I'd get it back. Hopefully it can get fixed today and I can make the appt this afternoon or tomorrow at the latest.

We are driving dh's truck out of here. We drive for 2 days and then get on the ferry for 5 days and then drive a few more days once we hit the lower 48. I just hope the weather holds up for us and we don't get snowed in any where. If we do, we'll have to drive the whole way and I really don't want to do that!

Cold, cold, cold and forcast for more cold! :frosty: Oh ya....throw in some snow and you have MB! I should get on the road as I have to head to my out of town school and I don't suppose the roads are in very good shape. Worst of it is is that it is supposed to clear off and be -36C with a wind chill of -49C by morning! 8o Buses definately won't be on the road tomorrow.

I see from another post that Karla and Rhonda are up for my bitchy award too! Anyone heard which of us has won????!!! :lol: I might be back in the good books with my family, so my name may have to come off the list. :lol:

Morning everyone,

COLD here to -32C right now and that is without the wind chill.

Had to run to the bank this morning and thats all I did. Now DS#3 and I are home till we haev to get DS'S from the bus, I wont forget today, I felt so bad yesterday. DH is working out of town till Wednesday night.

JAK-Good luck with your truck..WHich way are you driving? Are you going to be going through BC? Sorry not really sure how to get to Ca from where you are.

Went into the Y today and met my new boss. I hope he's adjusting to working with all females. :crazyroll :lol: Dh has an away game tonight, so I'm just hangin' out with dks. :)
