what your favorite snack is? I've been trying very hard to diet/loose weight... but I find myself constantly heading for the refridgerator or pantry looking for something good/nutritious to snack on. I've already got (and eaten) a lot of raw vegetables... but I'm beginning to feel like a bunny rabbit. LOL Any other good, low calarie snack idea's you could share with me? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks...
Diane...

I seem to have one in every category - healthy, sweet, cold, salty....LOL!
grapes and oranges
graham crackers with ff coolwhip in btwn and frozen (this is a weight watchers treat that someone posted here)
dry cereal - like Cracklin' Oat Bran - fulfills my sweet craving and is high in fiber :)
pretzels, WOW tostito chips with salsa, or WOW potato chips

Well... I dug out my old air popper and made myself some popcorn last night. It wasn't the "best"... but it did the trick. LOL
Karla... thanks for all of your ideas too. I'm anxious to try the graham cracker/frozen cool whip snack idea. :licklips: It sounds like it would be pretty good. I went grocery shopping last night and got a bunch of fresh fruit.... also got some Cracklin' Oat Bran, which is something I have't ever tried before, so I'm anxious to try that too.
I'm reluctant to try anything WOW... as my sister didn't have a very good reaction to them when she ate them. 8o 8o 8o LOL I realize not everyone is going to react the same way but... don't really want to try either. (just in case) LOL
Thanks again!!!

I bought an air popper and hated the popcorn, so I took it back and decided to treat myself to the 'real' stuff once in a while. LOL!
The graham cracker treats are really good. The cereal looks like dog food, but I like it. Youngest ds likes to pretend he's a dog and makes me put it in a bowl on the floor for him. :crazyroll
LOL about the WOW chips ~ I love them, but they're expensive. I still think you should try them. :D

granola bars, rice cakes, trail mix...
I have to watch my sugar so snacks for me would be veggies with hummus or ranch dressing, apple with natural peanut butter, string cheese, almonds.
I have also found upping my water intake helps me to cut out snacking.

I think Robin Williams does a 'bit' in one of his specials about the chips made with Olean..... mentions anal leakage as a side effect. He says "I wouldn't say that's a SIDE effect! I'd say that's AN EFFECT!!" I about died the first time I watched it, it was so funny ('course he deivered it much better than I did).
