Grass Stains

My dh just came home from softball practice with grass stains all over one of his good white shirts. Do any of ya'll have any recomendations on how I can get them out? I haven't tried anything yet for fear that it will set them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks you.

Pretreat with shout and the wash with biz.

Pre-treat with shout, stain-away or other stain remover, and wash in warm water.
MIL gave me a container of OXI-CLEAN powder. It works great too. Just disolve a small scoop in warm water and let article soak for 15 -20 min and wash as usual. dh softball uniform came out white as snow.:)

There must be something about those ball uniforms. Ds' always came out clean, but not so with other clothes.

Thanks everyone. Last year he ruined one of his shirts playing softball. You would have thought that he would have learned, but then again. LOL!! I am about to do laundry so I will see what happens. Thanks again!!:)

Pre-Treat with Shout, or any pre-treater, and I would use bleach if its white, for me the grass stains are always on Jeans...LOL...

What I do is pre-treat with Shout and then use Sunlight bar soap on the stain and hand scrub before putting in a the machine.
