Thanks for asking. I have been meaning to email you again. We let him quit school and he is so relieved. I talked to a gal today for a new program next year. She said they are very nurturing and the biggest class will have 14 kids. We can choose btwn either 2 or 3 days a week. She also invited us to visit the classroom anytime before then to see what we think and ask any questions so I am excited. Thanks again for asking! Are things still going well with A.J? :)

So glad he's doing better! The new program sounds great!

A.J. has had his moments, but he's doing much better overall since he changed classes! :)

I was just thinking of your ds and his school problem earlier today and was going to ask how he is doing. glad to hear he is happier. Hopefully the new class will be better for him.
I had two new little sweethearts start with me this week. One just said ' ok Mom, you can go now, I'm tough" The other had a few tears and stuck pretty close to me. I was able to get her involved with a couple other girls and by the time noon came she was playing happily.
A child's first school experiences should be positive and happy. It's too bad your ds got off to such a bad start.

Thanks Ryleigh! I think if they had helped ds even slightly to feel secure/comfortable while there he would have done well, but I think when he was sad he was basically ignored. :( Thanks for thinking of us. We're hoping next year will be a better year!
